Well with all the talk about LEDs going around, just thought i would try one of these lights out and see for myself what its all about!

Have always been curious about LEDs, but really didn't know much about them.
I've seen alot of other peoples results, but only way to truly know, is to try it out myself.

Thank you @MarsHydrofactory for helping me choose a light to go into a 4x4 tent, much appreciated! As I didn't want to spend a fortune to get things rolling, so they helped me choose a model that fit my space and my budget!

I been hearing Mars Hydro's name out there for years.. but just recently I looked into their newer lights. After looking into their New LED boards I wanted to play with one of their set ups.. plus I kinda wanted some of the cool stickers their gear comes with lol. I didn't just want any light...

noticed a dent in box, hopefully the corners have some extra support in them?

phew...it does! Sweet it has a protected foam insert to help protect products! Very nice.

look at all the goodies inside!

manual, dimmer switch/dial, port for diasy chain( hooking up multiple lights in sequence)...very nice !

Hygrometer and Temp guage with clock.

ratchet straps.

power cord, pin type timer, and another cord for diasy chain switch

all looks good so far.

driver mount with blue film, which i assume i take off , as its just a scratch protector.

unscrew pins. Remove film.

had to remove side piece (dimmer switch plate) as film is under it?

Finally can put back together.

Thats done! All together with drivers and switch mounted.

Which is a really good feature to be able to remove drivers and mount outside of tent if heat is issue inside of tent, drivers can be mounted elsewhere Awesome!

Going to leave it on for now to see the readings i get in tent with drivers installed on hood. Will remount if needed.

All together which was pretty easy, now its ready to go, just need to set up tent now so I can test her out!

Are planning on adding another light to flower with? That light alone wont cover a 4x4.

We shall see...
For first run i will just be using the one light, if its not up to Par for Flower, in a 4x4, then ill probably just use it to veg with. Or possibly add another one, or even upgrade

It would veg a 4x4 fine but you need 2 to flower. You could always just make your canopy 3x3 and 1 would be fine.
