I'm growing them in my veg' room, and they'll be flowered in the flowering room. My veg area is pretty small, about 8ft x 5ft. The flowering area is about 12ft x 8ft.

ventilation consists of an open window, an open door and a large fan (in the veg area). The flowering area is in the loft, 2 big fans and I often leave the hatch off all day during lights on. As my flowering area is in the loft my plants sleep when I do to avoid the chopper picking up any uneccessary heat sig's. The veg' area is on 24/7, but it is only 1 400w and the heat sig' could literally be from anything... I could for example have one bar of a halogen heater on in that room.
Greyskull likes the way you grow.

Before I went to bed last night I noticed that in a couple of pots the seed heads were just becoming visible at surface level. I haven't been in to look yet, but I am shortly. I'm sure I'll have some pic's to upload later.

Right, the first pic' if you look closely is the best one to tell from. Still a day or two before they stretch up properly and start to shed the shell. When I see leaf, this is when I start veg'.

Well a couple of them are popping off their shell casings now, so i suppose it's now:

DAY ONE OF VEG.

I'm enjoying this strain already:weed:. I only started germinating them on the 15th. In three days they've germinated and are breaking through the soil, and losing their seed casings.

Hmmmm. I'm just hoping that things aren't going too well.

Okay I've taken a pic' of each one. I'll upload them now (or at least try!).

Yup, all there. I think only one of them has shed the seed casing... so that's going to be allocated as plant number 1. The rest will get numbers as they develop further.
Hullo little Hindu Kush's welcome to the world!

What soil mix you using Skunk?

It's canna coco, with 40% perlite.
Aha! So sticking with what you know best - hydro, except this time in soiless mix - nice. I guess we all figure out which method of growing we prefer and what gives us the best results - at the moment I'm still pretty committed to soil, there's plenty there still for me to learn.

My favoured method with clones is dwc. But in bringing through from seed I like soil, but I also like the results of hydro. Which is why I've opted for this stuff. When I look at the pots I see soil. also coco is an excellent buffer from overnuting, moreso I believe than soil.

Ok day 2 of veg', and i thought I'd upload the most recent pic's. I'll try and refrain from doing this every day, suppose it depends on how much time I have to play with.

The last 2 haven't got numbers yet because they haven't got rid of the seed casing. The first one to pop, gets number 4.

Now for the pic's of the plants. Already a bit of drama. the two that were holding onto their seed pods looked very reluctant to let them go. So I thought I'd give them a helping hand.

Plant number 4 i accidentally tore half it's leaves off while removing the casing, and number 5 just looks a little deformed after my being much more careful second time around.

Right, it's not letting me upload the last pic'. It takes ages anyway, so you'll just have to take my word for it.

OK, week 1, or day 7 of veg'. I'm about to feed them a litre each of a nute solution I made up a few days earlier.

The nute solution is as follows.

10ml sensi grow part A per 6litres water
10ml sensi grow part B per 6l
15ml voodoo juice per 6l
5ml carbo load per 6l
15ml sensizym per 6l
1ml superthrive per 6l

I've never used superthrive before, and am a little apprehensive about using it on such young sprogs. Yet, it contains essential vitamins and hormones.

Anyone with any ideas on how frequently I should use this superthrive stuff?

Anyway, I'm already taking bets on the fem's. So far I've got 1 and 3 as males, 2 and 4 as females and number 5 I'm not sure.

Of course things could change as they grow in the next week, but it'll be interesting to see if my predictions change.

Hello, I would like to add my 2 cents. I use superthrive and its awesome. I use it every other feeding.. I'm also currently grown MK and I must say its a great growing plant. Seeds germinate really quick and they don't like a lot of watering from what I noticed, I let the leaves drop a tad before I water, or I'll use the moister meter. I will post a picture of her tomorrow. If I'm welcomed too. Anyway, you'll love this plant. By 5 weeks old I was able to take 10 large clones from her, and she's currently outside for the summer, cause she's to big for my veg room. 1x 1000k HPS in flowering room and 1x 125watts & 2x 65watts floros. Good luck w/this grow! this is 1 awesome strain... Sorry, I'm using soil. Not Hydro... Just wanted to add that, cause I know this is a hydro grow.

C'mon... we want girls!
I've got my mother plant picked already. She's plant no. 2. I'd bet my last spliff on it (if I ever had a last spliff).

I'll post pic's a little later. I have a feeling I'm only going to end up with 2 fems from the look of them. The mothers a beauty though, I'm sure you'll agree when I upload the pic's later.

OK, the pic's. I'll choose the best pic' of each plant in the hops that you'll recognise the qualities in plant number 2 of being a mother. Plant number 4 will most likely be a fem' too.

Number 1's a sick looking male. He's not absorbing the nutes as good as the rest, I bet he shows last... just to hang in there.

Number 3 is the alpha male. He'll show first, his balls dropping to show his virility.

Number 5, the runt of the group. A little deformed with 3 sets of leaves for it's second node rather than 2. I'm not sure on this one... could go either way. Probably a hermie.

Anyway, see what you think from the pic's... 9 days veg'. I think. Yeah, about that. This is why I need a journal.

Now I know what you're thinking, number 4 looks pretty fucked-up, and you'd be right. But if you remember, this plant had a little problem holding onto it's seed case, and when I pulled off the case I also pulled off half of this plants leaf. So it's doing ok.

Just keep your eyes on number 2.

Oh, the plant without a number is freaky number 5.
