Medical in Illinois

I recently moved to Illinois from California.
In California I didn't have any way to grow my own.
This place I bought actually had a crude grow-room already. I am wanting to trick it out.
I do have disability so it was easy to get Medical and with Medical I can grow five plants.

Look at you with the old time CFL’s.
Is that tall one in back getting a burn up top?
Hey thanks for replying. Saying hello sucks when no one will talk to me.

I am old time. I last grew in 2010. The things I have are from a decade ago.
The last time I looked in to LED lights they were still mostly experimental because high powered LEDs in the plant range were just getting going. It was expensive and those old lights did not do all that well back in the way back.

Yeah, these CFLs are in the left over hoods of experimental lighting. Screwed together with some wood and hanging by string. What the hell it is doing just fine.

As to did they get damaged. Yes they did. I was composting their soil in the compost tumbler and they had to stay in the solo cups too long and the grow-room is as sold. I have supplies so it won't be all that bad in a month or so. So fun to buy a house with a rough grow-room already in it in a legal state.
The fifth plant was very sativa and as we know sativas' want to run their roots shallow. That wasn't a thing for long in a solo cup. So that very Sativa leaning phenotype gave up.Transplant_1_9_15_2021.jpg

They are looking like the roots are now reaching out into their two Gallon pots by the looks of the branching growing.
This is a seed rescue. Not only was I unable to medically grow where I was living for safety reasons, these seeds are 10+ years old.

With a little luck I have a male and three females. I was thinking I might have two males but number four in the attached photo is now leaning towards the red suggesting it may be female. Number two and three are girls. I hope I know these guys.
Too soon to sex them so that is my prediction.

Tallest is number one which I am willing to bet is a male. And hopefully as much of a stud as it's daddy.
The worst case is they are all female and I will have to feminize them to get seeds.
Now that I own a home I might be able to actually breed them right.

It has been a stressful day. Every time I go to home depot my bank account goes down a lot.

Best of luck to you on your breeding program. Great to be able to grow your own medicine isn’t it?
