Have you thought about trying the Plant Prod MJ stuff? https://www.plantprod.com/crop/medical/ I have some pretty big customers using it and get really good results. The do skip the MJ Spike as its really expensive. One set lests them a few crops with 50+ lights. If you look at the bloom its 10-30-20.
Aqua do your guys use the 10-30-20 all the way through flower until flush or do they use a "finisher" for last couple weeks?

yes. the feeding schedule tops out at 200ppm unless I am missing something in my reading comprehension. :?:
I am pretty sure guys push the limits and then roll it back a little though.
Myself I generally try to keep things in the 800-1000ppm area. As my water levels go down I aim to keep my ppm's from rising without having to add extra water. To me it just doesn't make sense to have more nutrients in the water than the plants are actually using.

So I heard back from Jacks today and they just kind of made me more confused then anything. So what they recommend is to use their 12-4-16 for veg, switch to 10-30-20 for first 2 weeks of flower only, then switch back to 12-4-16 until last 1-2 weeks before flushing where you would use 7-15-30(finisher).

So they're recommending 12-4-16 for majority of flowering which is also the same thing that they're recommending for veg. Does this make sense to anybody?

Here's the chart that they sent me as well.

Edit: Won't let me post the chart for some reason but here's an attachment if anyone wants it.

The 12-4-16 is close to Maxi Grow 10-5-14 wonder if it can be a Maxi Grow Replacement. I'm guessing the 10-30-20 is to initiate flower and bud setting not sure how the 12-4-16 plays in the flower but maybe to reduce pphosporous overdoses in the mid weekd and still give a a K kick and then a big final PK boost and lower N in the end?

I find all these different formulas kind of annoying tbh. I want veg and i want flower. Does a guy really need a clone, veg, beginning flower, mid flower and end flower formulas? I do perpetual grows and want to make big batches of water/nutes for my plants at all stages of flower. Don't want to be making a bunch of different smaller ones.

i have no idea tbh. What attracted to me to the megacrop in the first place was the simplicity. Not so simple now it looks like.

Anyone here used both the Megacrop and Jacks Hydroponics? If so which one did you like better and why?
I've used Jack's 321 and switchd to Mega Crop with Sweet Candy and Bud Explosion (and some epsom salts in veg as needed). I don't use their cal-mag since it adds too much N) I have 4 gallon hempy buckets with Botanicare Ready Gro Moisture (coco) over 2" of river rocks under a Spydr 2i on a 5x5 tent. I have significantly better yields with Mega Crop regimen

You're not confused been in a store since 2003. I've seen guys hate on GH cause they couldn't get good results but got awesome results using Supernatural and vice versa. Guys who swore by AN and gave them magical yields and spent $15K per crop in food lol and guys who hated AN as couldn't get a 1lb per light from it but got 1.5+ from Botanicare.

Do we need 6 bags like Plant Prod or 3 like Jacks or 1 like Megacrop?

Nutrilife Plant Products now Pi Nutrients used to have their ABC powders. A+C in veg and B+C in flowers. Can't remember what was in the C it was either Calcium nitrate or Micro nutrients. People didn't use it as it wasnt complex and not 5+ bottles lol

I pretty much follow the recommended dosage and run both Mega Crop and Sweet Candy after the 2nd or 3rd week with Bud Explosion as soon as I flip to flower. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the need for hot water to dissolve the Mega Crop properly..
Ken's Grandaddy Purple 2 weeks before harvest. A picture's worth a thousand words.

If all you use is Mega Crop, you won't get the results you want. You really need the Sweet Candy and Bud Explosion.

Looking good bro, like what i see there. I actually have a bag of Mega now. Maybe I should just order some Sweet Candy and Bud Explosion as well and see how things work out. Have to think this over a bit more i guess.
