Mj plant life cycle

Okay so I've been looking at a couple seed websites and as an example some strains will say 60-90 day flowering period. I know that 18/6 is when you wanna keep the plant in Veg (unless it's an auto flower). I was curious when most plants are typically flipped to 12/12 flowering stage. I know it varies depending on the genetics but I just need a general idea I guess

That depends on the grower. If you want a massive plant, you could veg for 3 month. If you want small you could start the seeds at 12/12. It depends what you want. Many would say that 1 month is the standard amount of time to veg.
Keep in mind: the 1 month is at optimal conditions, also, the breeder #of days is also under optimal conditions, if your plant is not living properly things can take longer.

Typically if you are using a 5 gallon fabric pot or similar size at least 5 weeks of 18/6..........longer if u want a beast or are limited to plant count. If u grow in a 3 gallon pot/container veg at least 3 weeks.........one week for every gallon used or more

depending on space I will veg for 3 weeks to 8 weeks if i'm packing in a lot of smaller plants I veg for 3 weeks less plants I veg for 8 weeks cause I want monsters in the room

my pots are 7 gallons so 7 weeks veg time?

When you switch cannabis over to a 12/12 flower cycle, the plants can "stretch" up to two to three times their height within the first few weeks of flower.

Always keep the height in mind in regards to switching to flower. You don't want a plant stretching to 8-9' tall when your grow space is only 5' tall.

Ya, 7 week veg for a 7 gallon pot. I vegged 8 weeks in 7 gallon containers but at that time I only ran 2 HEDGES in a 4 x 4. We live in an illegal state, the wife limited me to 2 plants then. No worries about 8-9 ft tall plants inside a tent, won't happen. If its a pure sativa (100%) it might get close to 60-70 inches but most ppl will tie down colas anyway to maximize yield/
