mold fungus in soil????

What if there is some white looking moldy crap on top of your soil growing on some of the stuff like the little peices of wood thingys that come in the soil?

do i transplant the plant into fresh soil? is that safe to dig up the plant and roots to put in new soil!? please help

Leave them in their soil. You want a high air exchange to inhibit the growth of molds. The mold you speak of is most likely cobweb mold. Also give your plant a short dry spell. Not enough to hurt it but enough to dry out the soil enough to kill off the mold.
