I went and bought some MONTEREY GARDEN INSECT SPRAY anyone ever use it before ? the hydro store said it works great for shitapillars.

Spinosad is a relatively new insect killer that was discovered from soil in an abandoned rum distillery in 1982. Produced by fermentation, Spinosad can be used on outdoor ornamentals, lawns, vegetables and fruit trees, to control caterpillars, thrips, leafminers, borers, fruit flies, and more. Spinosad must be ingested by the insect, therefore it has little effect on sucking insects and non-target predatory insects. Spinosad is relatively fast acting. The pest insect dies within 1 to 2 days after ingesting the active ingredient. Will not persist in the environment. Sunlight and soil microbes break it down into carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen. Classified as an organic substance by the USDA National Organic Standards Board. OMRI Listed for use in organic production. Mix 4 Tbsp. per gallon of water.

Unique Features:
• Organic active ingredient, produced by fermentation
• New chemistry for insect control
• B.t. replacement, more effective pest control
• Can be used on vegetable & fruit crops, ornamentals, and turf
• Controls caterpillars as well as beetles, leafminers, thrips and more!

what do you all think ? can I spray my buds which are at least a month or more away from harvest ?

i would personally never spray a budding plant, unless you want to hose your plant down at some point cause there will be some residue

I would'nt spray the budding ones that close to harvest time but thats just me. I have used this and it works wonders on those little thrip ass mother fuckers! Works well on most pests that come along.

I have used on girls 2 weeks in to the 12/12 but thats my self limit. If you had to do anything to the 4 week out girls I would mix up a batch, get some surgical gloves just wipe the larger leaves with your thumb and index finger that would not be generating any or much trichome capitate glands.

Sup everyone....I wish I read ur advice b4 doing it but I sprayed my girls with monterey garden insect spray yesterday 12-20. They are in they're 3rd week of 12/12 and already got buds on them. Ill keep u guys posted and we'll see what happens....keeping my fingers crossed.....

I think spinosad is the active ingredient in comfortis and trifecta for flea control in dogs. Supposed to be nontoxic to humans

New to the forum I'm about 6 weeks in on my first grow but, ive been around growers and their plants for a bit. And just found some little thrip bastards on my plant that just started to pre-flower. Sprayed some Monterey garden spray with spinosad last night. Today I still saw some but I think they were already dead and a couple had moved to the main stem and I just squished the little buggers. But so far it seems great almost immediate effects.

I just ordered some to deal with a white fly infestation on two hibiscus. I've had limited success with Safers soap and Neem oil.
I wouldn't spray those on flowering cannabis.

Good customer service from Jacks Dead Bug Brew with Spinosad (Bonide) and Monterrey too. They follow up fast if you email a question.

Oh and a ladybugs - good on thrips but not spider mites. The lady at the local bug store tore me a new one "Ladybugs would rather starve than eat spidermites."

Ladybugs are strange. More than half of em are lazy, 30% are flaky and a few are all over thrips shit. The little red bastards can move really fast on a plant.

Forbid 4F, I forget about anything related to a spider or a mite. Powdery mildew, myclobutanil. gone. Majestene for nematodes. done.
