Everything looks DANK ! Very Nice and bushy. Loving the light setup even if they're CFLs, I thought they were used for cloning rooms so this is somewhat new (LED + HID is what I know). Also this organic growing is relatively new too so time to learn! Looking forward to future improvements + updates . I'm going to be on the lookout for dank seeds and can't wait to see how big they veg out to be + flowering + of course harvest! Talk to you soon + Be safe bro!

Done A LOT of LSTing, and I made F.I.M(Fuck I Missed, 80% apical bud cut) cuts as well.
I also did a SCROG for a little bit on all three, but took it off after about a week tied them down.

As far as the CFLs bro...There are SEVERAL guys growing with CFLs, pulling OUTSTANDING yields! So I told myself, if they can do this with CFLs, I can too. I was initially gonna get some HID or LED lighting over xmas, but was convinced I can do without here..Cruise the forum
BUT the thing is...

-with CFLs, you don't want to grow a tall plant...You want a squat, bushy, thick plant, of which you can train to grow horizontal to some degree.(Which I have)
To keep a plant bushy and promote the sorta growth that I have requires some vigalence..But nothing more than LSTing like i said.

A F.I.M cut, or Topping the plant also helps with this as it stunts vertical growth for a day or two, while providing a boost to the current limbs below the apical bud. From my experience, a F.I.M cut creates an EXPLOSION OF bud site growth. TRUELY(I'll be topping by next bunch and contrasting the two)

-YOU MUST manipulate the plants apical bud so that you can manipulate the flow of auxins throughout the them. Auxins create bud sites to be plain and simple. They're essentially the MOST IMPORTANT growth hormone of the plant. Learn about em bro! Srry if you already go it down!

When you bring the highest part of the plant down making it no longer the tallest, you fuck the plant up in its mind, which ends up a good thing for you the grower. With it's apical bud being constantly moved down, the plant is gonna send those auxins(most concentrated in the apical bud) to other parts of the plant, trying to get a main cola established and growing upward like an Xmas tree, which they ALL do naturally...
BUT When you don't let that happen, you end up with a a few different "main" colas


-With HID, you can't get any closer than a foot away from the plants or your roasting them..CFLs can be an inch away.
-10 of the 23w CFLs I have at an inch away puts out approx 16,500 lumens(NO LESS). That's the equivalent of a 150w HPS without the heat. I have enough sockets and socket adapters to use up to 50 CFLs at any moment. They're HORRIBLE with light pentration and need to be within 4" at all times to put in work.(After this grow or maybe during the second half of flowering, I will upgrade to at least a 400w system, maybe a 135w LED.)

-With CFLs, it is a MUST to supplement side lighting...And Ive got lights to put EVERYWHERE bro! So there will be NO BUDSITE LEFT BEHIND lol. That's the theme of the grow. How I'm attempting to grow this plant! My art ya know? Every grower is his own artist if you ask me.

CFLs will do the same job from what I've seen(browse the CFL thread here), but will require a little more time in flowering and a little more effort like moving the light daily...I move my lights and rotate the plants at least 3x a day lad.
For the first harvest, I won't be satisfied with anything less than 6 ounces between 3 plants.

There a book call Buds For Less, you can find it anywhere on the net..but anyways the author grow 3 plants with Miracle grow and 6 42w cfl..He harvested just under half lb dry. For one...I've got more lighting which will be better. For two I've got a WAY BETTER soil! And For three I'm supplementing some c02. He didn't do any of that...Lol so me and this guy....We're having a faceoff in couple months haha

I'm gonna throw some pics up a little later bro. Today is Wk 3, Day 1 veg. And very well the last week of veg!

I fucking dropped my Critical Jack solo, as well as one of the white widows and seeds hit the floor, so I hope they'll recover AHHH!!!

I agree with you thou, training and attention are the 2 most vital aspects of a CFL grow in some sense. If your plant outgrows your lights you're going to see reduced efficiency in the plants ability to use the light its bring provided, and like Sincerely said, rotating and moving the plants around to make sure it is getting balanced light and growth is essential.

Today marks Day 39 since planted, or Wk 3, day 1 veg.

As far as the plants go...They're all FULL SWING into the vegetative phase and growing almost and inch a day I'd say.
They'd all be much taller also if they weren't tied down horizontally!

The White Widow which was the smallest before any plant training, is now the largest most vigorous grower.
With that said, if you're growing a White Widow...Def. Top/F.I.M it, and LST. Responds uber well to training..Left photo shows pot width(3gal); Middle=apical top; Right=Height

The Auto-flowering Bubblelicious was initially the most vigorous grower pre F.I.M cut. Since then growth has tailed off GREATLY and it has yet to start flowering 39days in...With that said, I would def. not recommend any super cropping..No topping, no F.I.M cut. Just LST.
With the F.I.M cut....I actully missed I believe....BUT I got a good # bud sites currently so it helped in that part

The Blue Widow is still growing vigorously after a F.I.M cut and some LST. This plant would def. be the tallest if I untied it, but I think the White Widow just recently surpassed it in overall umph.....As I'm looking at it at least!

At day 39:

-The plants are growing about an inch a day I'd say. Maybe a little less.
-The stench doesn't yet require an odor control solution.
-And I've been experiencing some heat stress(tacoing leaves, yellow tips closest to lights)
-And I think I'm gonna have to up my watering this time around from 4-5 days to 2-4 days..They're drinking water FAST.
-And I'm about to start adding molasses to the mix and switch to flower in next week this time I think...
-And I've had pistils on every plant for about a week now.

Any input and over advice...You guys know I appreciate it.

My advice would be to keep doing what your doing and posting some more pron for us to admire.
Those girls are damn fine, so tight, perfect for the CFL lifestyle. Hopefully I can get some tight growth like this when I get the chance to start my gal.

How much water are you giving them? Do you keep track or just a rough idea?

By the way, I'm not bothered by your post style lol to each his own. I know my posts aren't very sound haha, I ramble off and such all the time. Typing comes to readily to me so I can put out a sentence or two of non-sense before I even catch myself (<---see).

As far as the watering routine..I brew an AACT up for about 24hrs in a half gallon jugs, and I aerate them with ten gallon fish tank pumps.
The last one consisted of:
1tsp liquid fish
-4tsp earthworm castings
-1tsp Hi-P bat guano
-4tbsp of my amended soil mix.
I split that tea between the three of them, and 1/2hr later I give them each 1/2gal water. It's a wrap after that.

As far as the seedlings, I mist the soil for the first week, everytime I look at the plants, usually bcuz the top layer of soil has dried out in the solo cups.

So I figure I'd do it the best I can right.
I think I found out what I'm gonna do ha. And in a real way with good intentions and a nice plan in motion.

Most ppl non organic soil grows let there soil dry to where the container is very light to feel,Before watering.From my understanding
organic grows need to stay moist and not dryout.

And yeah Holland. I was in a city called Amersfoort, which is about 30 mins by train outside Amsterdam.
The dam is cool initially with the red light district, shops every 20ft, and the smell of weed in the air everywhere haha.
Not too mention the Dutch girls hahaha. My first visit was behind one..Nina...ahhh the days...
But you can smoke and find coffeeshops in pretty much all of the country tho. Not the just dam, which mad it cool.
If you're not in the extreme north, or any border cities, then there are a few coffeeshops within minutes of you haha.
Man the memories I smoked away Beech..pfffff.
It also took me a while to get back into my old American skin..You know..Work hard. Play harder...Go get it because "it" won't be given to you...that sorta thing. And yes sir, change is good.

Grow space 2.1. Added x2 150w HPS to the mix, cleared out SOME CFLs, added went with the flat white over the mylar just to let the heat rise freely.

I figure I'll still get good use outta those..Besides...I'm expecting that $125 to come back in it's weight haha. And I'm at day 40 with my auto Bub, and still no flowering....Def. should not have F.I.M'd it. SMH
