I just purchased the same one and received it in the mail yesterday. I remoted the ballast so it goes, lamp------cord ballast & Ignitor.....-----plug
Thanks for the information and all, still confused me but i have electronic experience and got it done and I love it.

You guys don't even need to take that apart, just extend the wires to the socket by splicing and extending.

I know, I did that, if you take the socket for the bulb off, you can just splice that white and black wire and extend.

Oh for sure, i didn't want to remove the socket though. i just unscrewed the little black things that are included and hooked up some more wire.
I can take some pics if ya want, was gunna take some after i set up the new grow box

these econos r the best. just put mine together with ducting. gotta dual cooltube with a 4 inch duct fan attached. my plants are like 10 inches away now and the glass doesn even get that hot. goodshit bout this thread, wudn of found out bout that shit.

Good deal! A word of advice, the main reason of the cooltube is to be able to keep the light inches from your plants, hell, they could even grow around the light and it wouldn't matter, so if you want to move that light a bit closer feel free. Good growing to ya!

When they heat up I think they get a bit more whitishorange, plus your eyes adjust.

im going to move them up once i get my custom stand built. i think ima do a diy thread for it. i see too many people adjust their lights for small grows. why not just get an adjustable tray stand? imo at least....
