My 4th Grow.... L.A. Woman CFL Closet for Veg.

Where they are is going to be the bloom area. I have already framed up the extension of the room. Will be running the electric and drywalling it soon as I get my 600watt HPS and ventilation equipment. Then I'm just going to build a small area to keep this mother and maybe another mother alive for 2-4 years in veg stage. I can't wait to get my bloom area setup. Soon as it is ready and tested for optimum conditions 20-30 clones are going in it when they root. 9-10 weeks from then 'ol happy days! lol then repeat with 20-30 more. I'll post some pics of my area up soon. Thanks for checking my thread bro. I recommend htgsupply.com their cheaper than any local hydro shops around us. I'll PM you later. Looking good today I had to raise the lights because all the grow shoots grew up in them. Looks like the smaller one is going to die by my hand tomorrow or at least by Tuesday. Oh well I can get what I need from this one Mother plant and it can use all the CFL's for Vg. I started settings up lighting for my area to keep my mothers when I start flowering the clones. It's going to use eight 4 ft. T5 Daylight tubes and the CFL's I'm already using.

Will do for sure just the closet their in and 2x4's framed out from it now hehe not much to look at but when I get all the materials together I'll knock it out in a day and start cutting clones

She was grown up into the lights again today. Going to kill the other one today and put all the CFL's on the clone that's growing good.

Went down to check on my baby and damn little black bugs crawling in soil and on plant seen about 6 of them total. I hit hit the foliage and drenched the soil with azamax mixture so hopefully their history. Pisses me off LOL! it's all good she'll be fine.

what are they?

IDK they look like what people refer to around here as "piss ants" like little black flies with tiny tiny wings. I went down after treating and saw a few still around the container not inside it or on the plant though also a few little 2" worms popped out the soil(I don't know if these can harm anything?) anyway I killed them. They didn't like the azamax soil drench I guess LOL

Well fucking bugs were down there today IDK what they are for sure. Maybe baby aphids not sure if they are even a threat but most likely.

Anyway she was grown way up into the lights again to day so instead of moving the lights for 3rd day in a row I decided I would tie some more down. Here some pics taken 10 minutes ago after I tied the branches down.

Aside from your poor taste in beer...haha..that chicky is lookin' good man. The way you described that bug it almost sounded like a termite dude. I think I am gonna end up getting some of those clamps like your using, they seem handy as shit the more I see them in peoples grows. Oh, and I think you'll see alot quicker growth on that bottom stuff now that you've tied it over some.

Oh God I hope their not termites.I went down and checked on them about 4 hours after tieding branches down their bent back up already looking good. Didn't see the bugs but their so small I do have a small piece of wood under the container keeping the bottom of the soil out of drained water could this cause termites? How can I get rid of them quick?

Yeah LOL I don't drink keystone on the regular I'mm a budweiser guy. Few of my friends swear by Coors light and usually buy Coors lower brand keystone. The wide mouth works good for the CFL to screw into the socket though. I hope the hell they are not termites. What can do to get rid of those quickly?

Yeah these clamps come in handy I like them for this LST especially. I can basically put lights up in the plant, it's definitely loving the more light it's getting since I cut down the smaller one. Went down about 4 hours after I tied them down and their bent back upward looking good. I just buy them with the round reflectors I've used them before too but I like using the bulbs horizontally has worked better for me in a complete CFL grow. I'm going to love this 600watt HPS I loved the bud I grew with 2700k CFL's too though just going to be so many more this time...

I didn't see any bugs while I was there but their so tiny who knows... Time will tell if I think about it and see more I'll snap pics of them. Will post up pics in a few more days see what this girlie does now -grin-

Well something is eating my leaves. This happened over night I hadn't seen any bugs in a few days but just saw 2 more small black bugs in the soil running around Azamax should have taken care of them but I don't know what they are and their so fast can't really snap a pic.

Yeah I'm going to wait 3-4 days and Hit them with the highest dose of it. Figured 5ml would do it lol I eradicated spider mites with 7ml and their hard to get rid of had to be persistent with them I guess whatever these are too going to need same treatment. I'll update in a few days pests is the perfect word for them.

Haven't been on much recently.Anyway the above post I did do hit them with a high dose and have been bug free since. Plant is huge now about 3.8 feet from the floor(w/ 5 gallon bucket). My room expansion is completed. The room is now very close to being 4 x 6 it's about 4.68' x 5.88'.

I have ordered my 600watt HPS bulb, ballast etc. Went with digital green house.

I have a reflector with 6" flanges on both ends and I have ordered a 424cfm 6" inline fan and appropriate ducting along with a 6" charcoal filter rated for 102 cfm fan.

I decided to try grow bags and have a few questions about them.
I chose the 3 gallon grow bags. measuring 7.5" x 6.5" x 13.5"H

my question is where can I find square saucers that will fit these grow bags? I have searched and found nothing.

I will be starting to cut clones tomorrow evening and hopefully shipment will be here by the weekend.
