This flower chamber is 4x5 and 20sqft with a 600hps and 400mh so 50w persqft. That was a clone at 46 days total and 25 flower. When this pic was taken it had grown under a 400mh and 400hps eyebulb. This plant was on the MH side. The 2 lights kinda blend in the middle but this plant received mostly mh it was on the end of the mh side. And 40 wpersqft as this is where i put the 600 i got from the friend i was talking about and now i use the leftover 400 in a 3x3 space. This is where i made the cross.Hope this helps....Its from when i was doing the 5 plant rotation and filled in real nice how would like 5 of those every 2 weeks.....
I'd like ten more......when ya' bringin' 'em over? LOL!!!
Ok, so i'm gonna add the second 400 MH this weekend hopefully and start the flowering of the first 4.

Hey man, Been MIA for abit cause I am sick with the flu. Wow, I missed alot, have alot of reading and pictures to look at to catch up. What happend with your HPS you were suppose to get? I just got my 250W HPS and gonna use it with the CFL's to veg, and ofcourse to flower.

You know you can get a 150W HPS at http://www.e-conolight.com/Product/EProductDetail.asp?ProductFamilyID=7&FGNumber=E-MT6H151G

And its only 20.00

It comes with the ballast too. So your gonna have to go with 5 gallon buckets, Holey crap. lol.

Alright, I am gonna read through the rest of the posts that I missed, and I will comment.
Well, i was thinking of getting the 400 wat HPS but a buddy told me i could just use the MH, so i'm going to add another to the area. That will make it 2x400 watt MH.

Multiple smaller lights are most ideal for your area.. 50W/sqft is pretty sufficient, if you're anywhere near that, or above, CO2 will help..
With extreme lighting any problems will occur faster, so its more important to stay healthy..
I'm putting in another 400 watt MH for the flower, cuz i don't have the budget for a 400 watt HPS at the moment, christmas coming and all:-|, and i already have extra Metal Halide lights.
So, to get the w/sqft am i just measuring the area of the floor space LxW, or do i do LxWxH of the whole cabinet?

Here are plants 4 - 8:

I think they all look good except the two obvious ones....with wilted tops again. I thought it was an overload on nutes and was fixed by flushing but it can't be that.

Damn dude a little trigger Happy thats alot of pics.I believe the ones with the dry soil look good, lmao must be that little water jug you hid from me on the rest cause they look like you have watered? Let the wilted plants go for 5 days with no water. There drowning.

Is that droop from overwatering? What time during lighting cycle are these pics getting taken? Moments before/after lights-out?
A stab in the dark, I'd say you're possibly seeing a Boron 'lockout' from pH fluctuation.. Boron is really picky about its pH for uptake, only really likes between about 5.6-6.8, and has other soil preferences for uptake aswell..
And its a good thing you're growing pot, because I think you'd starve working as a photographer..:) (Some pics are ok, others make me feel like I might have a concussion..:) )

It's so true!!LOL!!!:hump:
Well, the pics are usually taken anytime between 5-8 p.m all the time, the lights go out at 8:45 on the dot. I believe the droop was from over water, because i posted somewhere back there, that they had been dropped into a tub of water. Pot, plant and all sank. think it still re-cooping.This was during transplant from small pots to 3 gallon bucket.
So, what can i do about the boron lockout, anything?

Yeah, they do get very expensive. So if you already have the MH use that. Too bad you didn't have a HPS for flowering though.

How many lumens do each of your MH put out? and how many plants total do you have? Seems like your not having any lighting problems. So your doing good. But they are gonna get really bid during flowering. You have anything for side lighting, or do you think that what you have will be enough? Also, once you weed out the males, you will have less plants, so you should be straight.

Hey what up man!!
Well i guess i am the proud owner of a 400 watt HPS with no reflector for $50.00!!!:-?
I didn't really want to get it now but you can't stop a bid on ebay!!!!
Oh well, i'll just add this into the cabinet instead of the other MH and have the full spectrum running!
I don't know about the lumens thing, i never really understood that, but i have 4 big plants that are ready to flower, that are in their 7th week of veg., and will be kicked in to 12/12 on sunday. I have 4 more sitting in front of them that are two weeks behind the first four, and the ones in the little cabinet are two weeks younger than the others. Then the babies in the clone-dome are about two weeks behind them. I did this to make a two week cycle for harvest, but i did it with seeds instead of clones!!LOL!!!!
I have side lighting, it is a shit ton of CFL's and four foot shop lights, some have CFL's and others have 2 or 4 flouro bulbs in shop lights. Check out the pics, the big cabinet, in front of the plants is a four foot shop light aimed at the plants.
Hopefully i don't have any males, but it wouldn't bother me if i did, cuz i'm running out of room and haven't even started to flower yet, i 'm scared but not that scared so i'm going for it!!!!LOL!!!!:blsmoke:

How are you going to hang it? A good reflector is as important for safety as it is for light coverage.. You can build a safe reflector, but unless you're really good at metal working, you be better off buying the cheapest thing you can find..

I planned on the sheet metal way. I have some experience with bending metal for flashing and stuff so it should be about the same right?
Then iwas thinking a shower rod in the top of cabinet and hang with adjustable chains! Sound good?

Doesn't matter how you hang it as long as its not a pain to adjust, and you can guaratee its secure.. Adjusting the height without a proper pulley can put alot more stress on the top than you'd think.. It may be over-kill, but I wouldn't hang hid from anything that couldn't hold my body weight..
Also incase it isn't brutally obvious, make sure your reflector and socket bracket are sturdy enough that its impossible for the glass of the bulb to contact the metal above..

yup, i figured it shouldn't touch the metal. I planned the same idea for hanging this as the other one i have hanging. It was drilled, bolted, screwed in place then i hung chains from it to the light.
