My First Coco Grow!

Thanks alot man, this will be my very first harvest. I think I did great for my first grow, I own alot of thanks to everyone on here for helpin me out and givin me much needed advice.

By the way I was reading about bacteria and from what I can tell is that coco only prevents the anerobic bacteria, the bad stuff, from breeding. It lets the good guys thru. I am too novice for it yet.

damn pretty plant tho. should def get some art shots for contests. I see them all day and they are nice.

three gallons are full of coco? after those blocks got to small I was not sure if you switched to soil/coco mix or stuffed them with coco. TY.

No PH problems with coco as long as you are phing your water before you give it to your girls. I did have a problem early on with the light burnin my leave, I enden up tiein a small desk fan to my reflector to cool the bulb down. Light has been about 8-12 inches away with the fan on, little over 12 inches should be fine without a fan. Yeah I am using all coco, when I transplanted I just added coco to the grow bags and put my laies on top. Thanks for the +rep will get anyone that hits me up with one.

Yeah will check the SS as the week goes by, hairs are starting to turn brown already. I cant wait to harvest these ladies!!!!!!

Ahhh that sucks I got - rep once for telling someone "good luck" with a grow. I wasnt being a smart a$$ either...I was serious. I've always been careful about using that term too because i've met a few people over the years that were brought up thinking the term "good luck" was bad.

Harvesting soon heh? That "G" will go a long way....like 40 gallons worth of mixture Probably too late for this one though.

By the looks of my trics yeah, my give em both a small dose of gravity if I get it today or tomorrow. If nothing else I have more girls to flower yet so they will get it, my Widow is starting to flower now. Bout 8 weeks on the Widow if I remember right Will haveta talk to my unc and ask him hes da one dat hooked me up with the da strain. Yeah I feel bad, I really didn't mean to do it.

LOL, I know right??? I clipped a branch off each one of my girls the night before last, prolly gonna take another 2-3 day for em to dry then cure for bout a week. Dunno will prolly end up just smokin these few budz and curin the rest of my plants after I harvest

mjg420 how tall where your girls when you flowered? also have you growin in soil b4? is the coco that much better?

They were about 8-10 inches and now are 3 and a half ft pushin 4 I'd say. I have grown in soil before but I have never flowered, this is my VERY FIRST harvest!!!!!!!!!! I have researched for years and tried and failed MANY times but have finally done it!!!!!

Thanks Bone, keep watchin for the next round girls. Got a White Widow starting to flower now, gonna start flowerin another SS in a week or so as well then a WB a few weeks after that to stagger them. Figure I can be harvestin a plant every 3 weeks or so if I plan it just right.

I don't have a scale for obvious reasons, but I a guessing I got a QP off her. I have a buddy that is gonna loan me one for a few days.

I am sitting here as I upload pics smoke some scisor hash, I got about a gram or so. I know my spelling sucks, bear with me.

I didn't get too carried away on triming, I just cut back the leaves that were sitcking out. Not worried about bag appeal I will be the only one smokin it so fuk it. I still think it looks AWESOME. I cant wait for it to dry. I need to go pick up a fan to put in there to get some more airflow.

Yup that sounds about right, I was amazed at how much they grew after I flipped the lights. I am actually a bit worried cause my Widow that I am flowering now is alot taller than I would like her to be, I dunno how I am gonna control her. Def gonna have to tie down branches, and get my cool tube going soon!!!!! I need the money to buy a ballast tho.

Sweetness, Just checkin up on ya man. Gotta check on my bros. Indeed it is!!!! Yes harvest time is the greatest, although prolly the most nerve racking. Still got another to Harvest here in 2-3 day prolly, I need to check her trics again. Was so busy last night I forgot to.


Oh yeah and here is somewhat of a smoke report from the samples I took Friday. The White Berry has the most DELICIOUS taste, even without being cured. The Super Skunk has somewhat of a mind fuck high I think, I dunno I tried em both yesterday and was the highest I had been FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then to top it off I started smoking the scisor hash after I got done Choppin last night, ended up passin the fuk out but damn did I sleep good. Very energetic all around buzz. Berry has a distinct sweet taste to her, and the Skunk has that signature Skunk smell/flavor. Overall a fuckin great smoke.
