My First Grow

HEY!!! Sorry I haven't posted for a while, but it took like forever for them to sprout. I went to my friends house for a couple of days and my mom had been watering them for me. When I came back they were real tall out of the soil and I had to tell my mom that they were stretching and that we needed to get them out of sunlight and under the light. Well, we re-potted them and they seem to be cool. I'm just so excited because I thought they would never sprout... here's some pics.

Also, I heard laying a banana around your plant will help it turn female, is this true?

It isn't true or false. Lotsa people believe in it......the banana releases something as it decomposes....i'm going to be doin it!

Yeah, as soon as my mom goes grocery shopping I'll tell to pick up a couple! Whatever's going to give my plants more of a chance to go female, I'm up for it!

Although, will they decaying banana's cause any bug problems?
