My first harvest and drying.

Hello stoners, I have just harvested 4 plants off northern lights I chopped them down bang on 8 weeks flower or 10 weeks from the flip off 12/12, The plants where about 50% white hairs and 50% Amber, How long is it to dry? I've got them hanging on clothes hangers upside down in my wardrobe with all clothes out off the wardrobe there is that much off it lol. Am I doing the drying process right? I just need this question answering, Is it true they have to be in complete dark and not be interrupted? That's why I've put them in my wardrobe so I can close the Door and so it's pitch black.

Darkness helps but it's also important to have ventilation. You need to be able to dissipate the added humidity from the flower so air exchange is vital.

Could not agree more.

But reassure me on something here - You mean the trichomes were 50% white and 50% amber right?

Or you actually mean the pistils?

In both cases, if trichomes are 50% amber it is maybe a bit late to harvest but if you talking about pistils, then 50% amber pistils might be a bit early!!
