May 1st My friend gave me a few of his plants roughly a month old i believe.
I will be showing updates on how far i have come with these plants.
This is about the first week with my plants i stored them in my closet / bearded dragon tank / outside.

I eventually got fungus gnats and had ti buy cucumeris bug sachets to hang on the plants

I am using the connoisseur ph perfect technology for nutes.

I messed up 2days ago and watered the plants twice in a row with the nutrients and now my ppm meter is saying i have 3000+ppm in my pot ... so i triple watered them down with tap water and phdown to 6.5ph about 3 times. Got the ppm to say2000..when gave them a normal water today my ppm meter went wonky depending how deep i placed it and said i had 1300-3300ppm again.. maybe its from the new soil i put in there too.

OH im using happy frog soil btw

Tried to take down the ppm today by flushing with distilled water and ph'd it to 6.5.
Took the 4000ppm to 2800 the first gallon.
Then 1900on the 2nd gallon. Im sortof put of distilled water now so lets hope theyll be ok..

Also out of curiosity, for aphid control i put a sachet of nematodes in my soil about a week ago. Would that be the reason why my ppm went to 4000?

No i put half the recommended amount (1mL) into a 1L jug of tap water. But i mixed another batch up just now to see the ppm level and the ppm is only 400 per mix.

So 2 days of these conneiseur nitrients shouldnt have spiked it to 4000ppm. I believe the transplant to the brand new soil might have something to do with it..

Yeah man the runoff from fresh soil is going to have a very high ppm

Thank you for the comfirmation so since i drowned them yesturday im probably gonna give them a break til they get light.

So my question is do you recommend straight water next time i water or can i keep providing the nutes ( i mostly like the nutes because of the ph balancing it gives a perfect 6.5 to my plants)

Happy frog isnt super hot soil but it does have nutrients in it. I would give straight water for a week and then re-evaluate.

If your girls are not showing signs of toxicity then keep feeding them still use half dose of nutes as you can always feed more but you cant always fix over feeding easily.

I would not worry to too much about PPM
If it's your first grow get very well versed in identifying deficiencies and toxicity problems, learn how to tell when to feed based on weight of your pots.

My advice stick to the basics for now. Growing can be a very deep rabbit hole very easy to get caught up in it and forget it's just a plant learn to read what she tells you. Oh and patience, patience, patience it's the hardest thing to learn but probably the best tool in your grow box.

Thank you all seems i panic a little easy. Probably didnt need to flush with 12Litres of water.

Anyway today i just got back from work. The girls look alright. Plant #2 (or the smaller one i should say) seems to be getting a claw down near her bottom leaves.
I read about the claw coming from wind damage...but shes the farthest away from the fan.. just gonna let them be today, as yesturday they had a rough day

I would just give water for a week and see what happens. Wait until pots are dry to water again (if you just re-potted this will take a while, its best not to fully saturate the first time after re-potting)

Yeah im probably going to wait a while. They were transplanted on the 14th(just checked my grow journal)with 1.5L water the first go. Thats when i noticed the ppm issue. Then i waited on it and watered again on the 16th.. saw 4000ppm again and did the flush to 1900ppm on the 18th.
I really hope i didnt do it too soon, the plant on the left i was told is a "phenotype" today at work aswell. Going to look more into this because it is resilliant as f!

Also minor update, i ordered a Migro 100+ for the girls.

Still waiting for soil to dry a bit. Keeping humidity between 45-49%

Noticed the plant on the right has a twisting leaf. Hasnt done that since the day i transplanted it..i pray to the cannagods that she isnt dieing :(

You are wayyyy out of whack with ppm ...especially plants trapped in such a shallow container.

Haha i didnt know happy frog was pre fertilized soil and i personally like knowing the ppm both going in amd whats coming out.
Im probably just a little TOO careful since its my first grow and all

Checked on the girls 3 days after the flush. Soil was gettin dry. They both surprisingly didnt die after all theyve been through although the one small plant has a bit of clawing at the bottom leaves.
