My ongoing war with spyder mites

I have been growing for a few years now and have done pretty good up until one stupid mistake that will not seem to go away. I was running out of room and equipment to keep a vegging grow room and also a budding room going at the same time. I decided to put a couple of the plants outdoors. When I finally made room for them I brought them back in. Little did I know they had been hijacked by spyder mites. I have never had a pest problem before so I am not used to checking for them. My plants started showing signs that something was wrong. It puzzled me at first because I knew my ph was right and I have always followed my fox farm nutrients schedule like a bible. Puzzled and not sure I decided that I needed a closer look. The magnifying glass answered my questions. I had one hell of an infestation of the little bastards. I tried all sorts of sprayes including neem oil and knockdown. Just when I thought that I had it under control they would return with a vengeance. I had to sacrifice a plant that was so bad that it was webbed up. That was a funeral that I never want to attend again. My question is this. I have a beautiful purple Sativa that is 4 weeks into budding. I had nursed this plant back and it seemed as if my spyder mite problem was gone. I treated this plant up until I changed my light cycle to flower. I kept checking this plant as it started to bud and all that I could see was dead bugs and dead eggs. I looked today and there are live mites and eggs on the plant. I keep picking them off and I have cut off infected leafs. The buds are so full of sticky resin that I am hoping they don't go there. Does anyone have any suggestions.

i feel your pain. I never had a serious issue w mites or bugs before doing outdoor grows. a few times, id see something flying, spray the plants and not see anything for months.

Since ive been doing outdoor, its a battle.

Aside from spraying the plant, theres not much you can do. One thing that does help is growing other plants (carrots, cilantro, rosemary...), they will help by attracting bugs to them, and not your pot.

I dont think i would move an outdoor plant inside, as that would compromise all the indoor plants.

and other than that, just clean inside really well, often. as often as you spray really. And spraying bug killer helps prevent bugs too.
