My plant in a scrog is now at 6 week mark of flowering, all hairs are turning brown already.

I know they ay this is a fast strain 50-56 days and ive seen that proven in the right conditions but i have to ask a few questions.
my last grow of this strain i pulled at 48 days as the trics were mostly cloudy and a few amber.
Its northern light blue by delicious seeds.

i dont have a loupe to check trichomes now as i lost it.

ive been feeding into a two litre bottle veg and bloom nutrients at 6ml each for two litres, + 6ml of GH floraNectar
+2ml of a root treatment additive + 1full eye dropper of floralicious (maybe too strong? it says 1/4 or 1/2 a ml per litre

ive also been watering every second day from seedling to finish.Perhaps i should be feeding daily now that the plant is fully grown?
the plant besides that looks great solid strong leaves coming out of the buds and no signs of over fert.

Or could it be that my lights too low at about 15 inches above the largest buds. (cob lighting 209watts.

Why would all the hairs be turning brown already?

Couple of reasons.

your lights too close

the heat is too high

you’ve been touching them to smell it.

Too much Sulfur too early

pH lockout

deficiencies or abundance of nutrients.

A picture says a thousand words.

This is not scrog and you have weeks to go... Be patient with harvest, not too soon. W8 untill 90% pistils darken AND CURL IN!!!

oh i topped it just didnt spread as much as i liked it to. i set to 12/12 a week early imo. i still have a few squares left and the ones at the front left side didnt stretch like i was hoping. next up is sappire og so should be a better scrog.

Maybe you have the same problem as I did, 2 of 3 of my plants whorled as a response to topping. They shot only 3rd node both sides branches whorled, than absolutely normal. But LSTing them was a real s*it, no typical paterns and maybe quater of scrog effect... Also yielded half to the normal growing plant, do not know if it was just genetics or bad luck.

on my plant it had no stretch at all. if i had of waited for the screen to fill and then grow a little more past the screen id be getting a way bigger yeild than what im getting. im estimating i only get around 2 oz. i was just rushed to fit this in as i get inspections every six months and had to put it in 12/12 to fit in another grow afterwards. my last inspection was 8 weeks ago and i hid my plant in the roof for 20 or so hours which may have funked up the initiation of flowering. i put it straight under 24 hours of light for 4 or 5 days then 12/12.

the plant hairs look more brown under the light than in the photo. the photo doesnt do it justice. there are a few large colas hidden by the door and other colas.
this is the smallest setup ive ever had but last time i got around 7 oz from two plants this time only 2 or so oz. maybe i should stick with two plants at a time rather than one.

I think i may have over done the floralicious plus as im hand watering out of a 2 litre bottle and using an eye dropper to measure out 1/2 a ml and ive been guessing how much is half a ml.

Try to never guess about the amount, I always guess less than really is... she is looking nice can you provide better bud foto please?

It turns out i was feeding about 1 and a half ml of floralicious for two litres of nutrient mix. 1/2 a ml is ten drops so i did ten drops and the was another ml still in the eye dropper. apparently it fries plants if you add too much. i was also mixing it with my other nutes all a little short of full strength.
That includes a root treatement solution i forget what its called at 1 ml per litre. floranectar at half strength, pk 15/16 at 2 mls for two litres of water mix, and bloom a and b at 6 mls each for two litres.

My tent has a few unstitched corners on it (due to dissasembling the tent before and after house inspections, so i have to leave all lights off in my room due to light leaks. a couple of times i have accidently left the bedroom light on after lights out in the grow tent which might have contributed to the browing of hairs.

In any case im going to keep on growing this strain for another 2 or 3 weeks until the calycs (spelling?) get swollen and hairs retract. no sign of hermies with the light leaks

thanks for all the advice guys, i appreciate it. i hope this strain is stronger than last time i grew it, i cut it down when a few amber trichomes showed which was 48 days but it didnt have legs of other strains ive grown.. i ve only done three or four scrogs and usually just made flat top bonsai style plants without a screen.

Also it seems the white hairs are coming back a bit over the last few days maybe as i cut out floralicious and flora nectar.
Im back using both now, ten drops of floralicious plus, and 5 mls (half strength) of flora nectar. not that i think floranectar does anything in coco, i think its meant for soil.

Your plant is fasciated! Left far corner and right close corner. Thats the reason why you had troubles...

Probably response for topping as well as mine but I had bigger “luck”, mine only whorled... That two biggest buds LF and RC corner on the last foto and that one on the first foto. I think you can find there a lot about it, if it get rippen and when, taste and potency... But other buds look normal. I think this is the source of all of your “problems” if we can say it like that...

Floranectar is not the issues...
