I had the extra space and the extra seeds..
(does pay off to do 1 seed grow for long term plan)
As posted it's 19 plants in two 10 gal bins, why would I?
Because I was told not too! or you can't do that!
....besides I had my 'real' grow op going so the risk is nothing.
ZERO FOOD(nothing not 1 time)
TAP WATER ONLY(once a wk it's whole life)
8 HRS OF LIGHT DURING FLOWERING(still on schedule as to 12 hrs)
REUSED SOIL(that's right reused soil with the large roots picked out)
STRETCHED(light was always more then 2 1/2 feet way)
One wold think, reused soil, tap water, no food and stretching of the plants would hurt the yeld and just asking for problems.Since I know who the parents are(grew them) I can tell you that the yeld is the same, only real difference is hight do to the stretching.

holy shit... when i saw the pics it reminded me of my last grow..
.. it looks identical, except i used grey duct tape and u used blue.. and u also used some way better reflective material... panda?

i only did 2 in each 10 gal, under a single 430w hps..
but i LSTed the shit out of them so they filled up the whole room

Good job. It's not that you can't do that, it's just unfavorable conditions for the best yield. You did a good job though, wonder what the total yield will be.

Don't know about the yeld, under or about 20 ozs-dried.
I wasnt counting on them or even thinking it would grow out.
I got the bonus plan, I will make hash out of them.
I'll have to buy bags I'm guessing, the ol coffee filter trick aint gona cut it.
Here a few photos of the other side of the grow rm with awesome
clones from a friend and some new strains.blueberry/strawberry/jack horror
these have been feed, light at the right height and new soil/sand/pearl mix.
clones are in bins and others are in 5 gal black bags.can't wait to get a tast.

Im definitely impressed :blsmoke:
why ?!?! people used to just plant them and leave them in the bush.... let the rain water and the earth feed it and pick em up in september.

All this plant food, planting them in their own area and all this other stuff its all just to help. it can be done with plain water light and soil.

P.S. nice job and thanks for showing us this :D

The leaves look too dark green this late into flower for them to have received NOTHING the entire grow...

The soil MUST have had a ton of N in it from the start or something.

thanks mountainmist!
I'm going to rerun the same set up again.
same soil, same seeds,re'reused soil and one bin will be feed miracle grow and the other fox farm.12 hrs of light for veg and 6 for flower.
My thinking is....
At what point does the soil 'really' need to be replaced?
At what point does the plant 'really' start the deflection of light process.

I spend alot of time and money for each new grow.
Bring in the new soil and tossing out the old sucks!(condo living)

THANK YOU!

I think SO much of these 'laws' come down from the hydro shops. New soil every grow, Separate pots (Soma uses boxes with multiple plants), etc. The high $ nutes, etc. All to sell more stuff. (hey, they are in biz to make money, thats cool.) But we seem to take it all to heart too easily.

So bottom line, it all works, huh?

(oh, that is one disturbing avatar :hump: )

Very nice grow! Gotta give it up. Keep this updated and let us know how it finishes. Too bad you have to trim that all by yourself n enjoy the smell and feel of delicious nugs... Too bad. That is a tite setup you got there and all the info you can is always appreciated.
