Hey, so all the information online about N-P-K ratios are all to facilitate bigger buds, higher yields etc. Does anyone know the best ratios for seed production to increase the number of seeds and the weight of the seeds?

Pollination timing will determine the amount of seeds, size is genetic. But you do want to provide plenty of nutrients. I like to run a little higher in N than I would for flowers, I run bloom nutes and micros are important as well. Think of it like your feeding a pregnant lady, these pollinated plants are eating for more than one.

I have gotten tons of seeds from simple solo grown plants .... grow 2 , CS one for pollen , use it to dust the other female solo.
Toss the pollen cup , other one goes to seed.

I don't think it works like that... Just focus on growing healthy good yielding plants... And try to pollinate early. From what I have read seeds need a solid 3-4 weeks or longer to mature. If you are growing autos that finish in 10 weeks and start showing sex at week 4, that doesn't leave you a lot of time to mess around. Pollinate early and then you are sure to only get good mature seeds.

So with autos I could start the pollen plant 4 weeks ahead of the seed plant?

I'd start in a week or 2 early but I haven't done a seed run yet. That was my plan. Ask highlogrow he's the seed producer!
