national emergency..

.. so, anyone here think this is going to be trump's plan come feb, 15th after he fails to secure any funds to build his wall?
i have a bad feeling this is in fact going to be the road he attempts to go down..

the only national emergency i have seen lately was la guardia being grounded

The shutdown had more to do with the Russia collusion probe than with the wall. This was all just to stymie the FBI without actually killing the investigation in a straightforward manner. So yes, he will obviously declare a national emergency because he is desperate for the distraction.

he'll try, but it'll get tied up in court immediately, and he'll be out of office (and hopefully in a cell) before it ever gets decided.
i gotta tell you, if he ever gets the wall built, i'm moving as close to it as i can, and i'm taking a daily shit on it, till the day i die....i'm going to try to shit out a portrait of trump, in the only medium suitable for the job

Why is this 280 miles of wall so much more hurtful to you than the 350 miles already voted on.

i actually wasn't aware that they had voted to build a wall before....it doesn't really surprise me. the government seems to waste money the way other beasts breath...without thinking about it....
i really don't want any wall....a few sensors here and there and some border guards in response vehicles should be more than enough. this isn't a border with a hostile country, Mexico has been a trade partner for decades, and how many Americans haven't been to Mexico for at least a weekend? whether its trumps wall or the democrats wall..it's stupid, and a waste of money....
i don't support illegal immigration...but i don't support making the process so stupidly complicated that the only real option people have is to seek forgiveness instead of permission...
to me, all a wall is, is a symbol of hate, and isolation, and a denial that immigration is one of the biggest things that made this country great to begin with...so, i wasn't all pissed off about it when the democrats proposed it, mostly becase i was oblivious to it....but, also, i will admit, it seems much easier to get indignant about something when you paste trumps face on it....which may or may not be fair to him....but i honestly am not concerned about treating trump fairly...i'm concerned with getting him out of the White house as soon as possible

i think he's just trying to reality check me....although i'm very grounded in reality...i'm just poorly informed about many things...my interest in politics is recent....one of the functions of becoming an old fart, apparently, so i'm doing a lot of catching up.

a wall is a symbol...if you want real security, you want razor wire, you want mine fields, you want pitfalls, booby traps, aggressive patrols.....this is a 5 billion dollar symbol....no matter who suggested it...and it's a stupid waste of time and effort that will do nothing to stop anyone from doing anything...no matter who suggested it....

mid january 2021 there should be a national emergency for universal healthcare.

just think of the billion $$$ green project at will create tearing down the wall when the next democrat president takes office......we should be building a sea wall along the coasts due to climate change..

if thump declares a national emergency over a wall he will set a precedence that future democratic presidents can use to declare emergency over guns....or global warming...or health care....or?

he got put in his place real quick when planes were grounded because because air traffic controllers were calling in sick..i fail to see how that will change on 2/15, other than give the freakshow time to think of another plan.

Where does she get so many dicks from? Your parents may have told you they "dont grow on trees" but theyre much more common than you think. We used to find giant dildos in the playground behind our building. People used to throw them out of their windows along with all kinds of porn. An older kid who used to pitch in little league would roof them. Our building had 7 floors.
