Need advice

Hey guys, newbie here.

Totally blank about lights. Not really sure how to do all the math, even after reading endless tutorial sites.

Just sharing info of a light I'm planning to use for a grow. My grow box is kinda small. 2.5' x 1.6'.

Wondering if this would be a good light to just grow 1 plant.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It may be good for veg, but probably not flower. TBH I use HIDs, but when an LED says it's 600 watts, you can be sure it's probably only a 100 actual watts from the wall...but hey try it and find out

Hi Misterbrandon, welcome aboard!

You've got 4 square feet (although in a rectangle) so you'll need 50 watts per square foot x 4 square feet = 200 watts for flower (12 hours light/12 hours dark)

4 square feet x 20 - 30 watt/sq ft = 80 watts for veg (18 hours light / 6 hours dark)

I've got a 200 watt led that I use to veg a 3x3 tent, it would do well for flowering in your tent.
