Everybody falls into that camp at one point or another lol you can totally overwater seedlings in coco. Ask me how I know

op from initial seedling stage to where your are now is when you don’t give them nutes (maybe a little further past it), I personally don’t give any nutes until the initial 1-2 weeks. Unless the plant looks like it needs it.
for plants that small I’d keep it at water only. But since you did start feeding I’d take it down a little bit. Maybe to about half and see how they react to it. After all you can’t force feed them. Don’t panic they don’t seem too detrimental just keep an eye on them
Yeh im not panicing, thx :D No nutes in coco? In my books you can never water coco with plain water

Thx actually the info i am looking for. And you must be using smaller pots. I'll give them some time now and see how much the pots weigh tomorrow or day after that.

Yeah that’s what everybody says. Yes I’ve seen people kill seedlings adding nutes too early, myself included.
bit the seed has enough in it for *about* the first week or two ~. That’s when you give it water only. I’ve killed tons of seedlings following this advice, along with the amount of water to use. Shit my last harvest I only watered maybe twice within the first 10 days lol. Do what works for you without killing the plant.

True true, just be careful to not make unbalanced ions in medium. I start with very low ppms, 200-300. I thought my plan would be easy to just throw them into 10L buckets but that was a stupid idea. Live and learn :D

When they're little I water them when they need it. A plant is like a campfire and in the beginning it only needs enough kindling to keep the little cherry alive and slowly growing. Once the fire starts raging it will demand a constant supply of logs. Water logs!

Exactly. My tap provides the low ppms also. Around 240. Then I start feed when the new growth starts coming in/ plants look a little light from low N

I start off in hydro farm 5x5 by 7” tall pots (.5 us gal)……then to the 7x7x9” tall pots (1.3 us gal)…….then final pot 12x12x12” tall pots (6 us gal)

I start in 1 ltr. airpots...........I feed daily to run off starting around day 3 from sprout.
I transplant to 9 ltr. airpots at 2 weeks from sprout and feed daily to substantial run off.
In flower I feed twice a day to run off.
Been doing it for decades without issue.
But that's just me.

6gallon, thats a big pot. How many of those you have per 5x5? It sounds like they need to be very big bushes before you can hit 4x water a day in flower.

I use cal mag and tap water 150 ppm tap then buffer up to 400 ppm with cal mag untill I see roots
No nutes? Always 400ppm base or just at start? My tap is only 60ppm, I have put around 100ppm calmag only. Too little?

Yeah it doesnt have to be rocket science. Are you getting fully rooted 1L pots in 2week? Thats pretty well done

400 just to start……I’d bump up to at least 300ppm if your tap is that low
