Throw and outdoor cookout and invite them bitches over.... They are human too and will enjoy the good eats and the company... it wouldn't hurt to have Mexican Mafia friends across the street.... just sayin....
Not sure how i feel about this, its a very good idea, but i am very much not that guy.

But they never leave with anything or anyone and i have never seen them make entrance into the house, even after i called in a gun shot. So they may have stupid runners, but they have the house pretty tight.

Talk to a few neighbors and make an excuse to party and grill out together.... Easter is coming, then you have Memorial Day... Not only do you meet neighbors, it's not just you and them... invite everyone, tell them to bring grills, charcoal, ice, beer, burgers, etc... street music... good times... and new friends

Do nothing,. sit tight they have more to lose than you and a chance encounter like that is just that don't make a big deal out of it. Find a hydro store further away or only go in the morning as soon as they open, most stoners and dealers are still in bed. What you said was excellent and you should always have a cover story, standing in the drive way with 8 bails of ProMix when you neighbor walks out and offers to give you a hand, could happen.

I would go with the shotgun for home defense, most times someone hears the click click and that's all it takes. Go with the pistol grip no choke. The pistol grip makes it easy to maneuver in tight places like a house hallway or bathroom ect. No choke is for the widest pattern so you can hit just about anything 4 feet to 20 feet in front of you. Think Urban warfare

PS the peace sign looks ironic now, talking about guns and all.

By the same token, i own my house, didn't know they were their until i moved in, and there is a drug dealer in every hood. And about my growing with kids, my garden is STRICTLY after the kids are in bed, and not only in and area of the house that has a locked door, but heavy furniture must be moved to get near it.
I decided to have kids yes, but i support them and have the happiest kids you have ever met, i have already almost lost one and i will not let it happen. I am only in a slightly worse position now, and even if i do stop growing this instant, then i have already fucked up and they won't have a clue if i am or not.
I do not drive a flashy car, i do not have a house that you would look at and say "we gotta rob that house" but my kids have my toys and love than most kids could hope for. Before you talk shit remember life isn't as easy as you think, and if i payed for my smoke (i am in a legal state with a legal grow) i would spend at least $600 a month, because i grow i pay maybe $100 a month.
So in short, even if you weren't trying to be bitchy, you were, and you don't know a mother fucking thing about how i parent!
no need to go off. All im saying is it is not fair for your children to be in a situation they could be hurt in. If you can't afford to live in a neighborhood without drug dealers or mafia leaders they maybe you shouldn't have had kids in the first place. The growing is not the problem and it is good you tend to it at night while their asleep but if they may be put in harms way that is wrong

Quite frankly, it really isn't any of our business and i'm sure your opinions on child raising don't concern him at all. Can we stipulate that and move on? or are you going to make an issue of his parenting, having never met him?

let he who is without sin cast the first stone....

LoL, come to the shitty house on the block for a BBQ your all invited! Really wish i could put a picture of my house on here, a guy down the street called it the "creepy house".

Luckily i don't grow in soil, so no bails in the driveway for me, and my close neighbor doesn't like me, he has sand for ground cover, every cat in the hood shits in it, but some how he thinks its just mine. But your right i should have a story ready, what happens if i see the boss when im walking out with nutrients?
I can buy a shotgun with pistol grip still? i thought they were illegal, maybe that was just sawed off. I have honestly always wanted a pistol grip 10 gauge, i wonder if i could find one?

This may be true, but I agree with him. You are in no position to tell him how to raise his kids.

I would second the 'grow a garden' suggestion, and would be weary about getting too paranoid.

So far, it seems they have at least as much to fear from you as you do from them. You have a small legal grow; if you're right about them, they have a lot more than that going on-- and you already called the cops on them. It is very possible that they saw the conversation they had with you as a way to break the ice and judge if you're a friendly or a foe.

Buying a gun and calling the police are both provocative acts-- and you do not want to get into a pissing match, they'll win.

If you really feel threatened by a neighbor, there are two things you can do: cut down the garden for a while and/or GTFO of the neighborhood. The kids are what you should be most concerned about, not the garden.

I bought a house at an age that most people couldn't think of buying a house, i have well over a million dollars in medical bills from having a very sick child, but i still have my house, we still have a good car and live a good life. There is drug dealers in your hood to if you believe it or not. You are really the stupidest person i have come across on here!

you may have to put the grip on yourself but you can get the grip for around 20-40 bucks.

12 g with bird shot will only kill at close range, covers the excess force debate, if your in the states there is some castle law ( a man has the right to protect his home) to protect you if you shoot someone. So first 2 shells bird, next ones sabots, if the first 2 don't scare or stop them the next ones will do the trick.

Thank you for at least being respectful here, may not entirely agree, but thank you for thoughts! If i could get out of the hood i would consider it, but i own and don't stand to make shit off of this place at the moment, so i just want to try to be safe.
Buying a gun is not ness a provocative act, they wouldn't ever know, but i do get your thinking here. Seriously of all my neighbors this is the only one i care!

I know all the drug dealers in my hood!! I rent them there houses. Those dudes are just as Leary of you as you are of them. I'm in agreement that they were just breaking the ice. Now they got one less neighbor to worry about. Don't worry about those dudes they prolly already forgot they even saw you.

I hear you-- you're in a tough spot, and hopefully the whole thing will blow over in a couple weeks. Hell, the house may even change owners again. Some friends of mine lived on a street across from some heavy dealers-- ironically, they had zero crime on their street (other than what took place in the dealers' home). Smart dealers don't want a police presence and know not to shit where they eat.

are you a lawyer? If so, you are giving out free legal advice that is not correct..... Stand your ground laws are not federal laws inclusive to all states. The laws differ from state to state. Unless South Carolina has changed it's law, you can not use force that exceeds force used against you. In other words, if a dude comes at you with a pipe, you better shoot to wound, not to kill. I don't agree with the law as written, just pointing out all states are different.
