They're known to me only as no bake cookies and my wife learned how to make them in second grade. The combination of chocolate, peanut butter and raw oats makes for amazing stoner treats.

I used to make those with my mother when I was a young child.....which was the only "cooking" that interested me.

I'm also interested in the recipe :D

I grew up with these. Someone in the family was making them every week.
We called them Preacher Cookies.

Those, and Sea Foam candy.

Sea Foam Candy

If you've ever had Divinity, you've had something similar to Sea Foam candy. They’re similar, but Sea Foam is lighter.

A recipe for old fashioned Sea Foam Candy! Sea Foam is a light and airy candy that has a dreamy texture that strikes me as a cross between marshmallows and meringues. It’s very similar to Divinity, but there are some subtle differences between the two.

Dude

You’re leaving me hanging here man

I’m going directly to Safeway after work.
I was actually taking care of the plants so hopefully that's a valid excuse . She works overnight shift so she's sleeping but when she gets up I'll ask her. When I asked yesterday about the recipe she just said she learned how to make them in second grade and had always just done it from memory. She cooks almost everything from memory and doesn't have a recipe to follow. Her grandmother's on both sides were amazing cooks and that's where she picked up her cooking and baking skills. It's a constant struggle for me to not resemble Jaba the Hut with the temptations she bakes.

Found a box that will fit over my large sheet pan. Did a little cutting so it will fit over the vent for the oven so I can use it to proof doughnut dough. Worth a try anyway.
Our last week in basic was galley duty & my job was to make the doughnuts.
I vaguely remember getting almost zero sleep. Up @ 0200 to prep/cook breakfast, in the rack by 2300 after cleanup.
We were a bunch of loopy bastards towards the end of that.

A "punishment" was to work under the chow hall in the grease pit cleaning it out. Don't know how I escaped that duty.
