New beginnings part 2......

Ok just got home and checked on them, I'm having some leaf curl on one of my babies. I dropped the light down pretty close yesterday and was running at 630w. Maby over watering? Changed to 1kw and moved up about 24" hopefully it's a light issue and not something more serious.

Any help would be appreciated thanks

Looks like nitrogen claw but barely. Have you fed them recently? And what is your medium??

Running coco and I fed them last night. I recently upped there nutes from 230ppm to about 400ppm. Added more r/o to bring it down to about 330ppm and see if that helps. Also added .5 ml per gal of drip clean incase it is nute lock. I don't think it's my ph cause I have a brand new blue lab combo meter, that I recently calibrated.

Did some reading might have added too much b-52 maby not to sure. Think I mixed a hot batch, or light was to close. will see tommorow if there is any improvement.

Ok guys,check them this a.m. and the curling seems to have stopped. Last night dropped ppm from 400 down to 330. Added drip clean and flooded them. Turned ballast up to 1k so I don't mess with the chem in my bulb and raised hood about 2.5 ft. Seems to have done the trick.

Going to also cut down watering until there a little dry, might have been over watering them.

Might have been, if it was n toxicity what would have been the solution? Flush?

flushed with 330ppm feed and added drip clean pulled all the salt buildup out I think, well most of it. Think it was a combo of high feed and my light being way to close. Will be checking when I get home to see if things have stabilized.

Ok well seems problem didn't go away, thinking it might take a week to recover. It's only affecting the top fan leaves.

Could heat be the cause of this? I'm running room at 87f only due to co2 supp. None of the others seem to be affected. While checking them out there seems to be pre flowers showing on one of the og kushes and a phantom cookies, from reading guess I'm not the only one with a pre flowering pc. Is this normal under 18/6? Going to check periodically to see if pistals emerge.

Ok guys think I figured it out... I made a complete noob move and I feel like an fuking idiot. Ok so I checked every possibility that could be causing this, and forgot to check my blue lab probe. Dirty as hell. So I cleaned it and took my time calibrating it.

Filterd 5 gals of r/o water and ph'd to 5.8. Flushed all the girls for safe measure, hopefully tommorow they''ll look better.

Threw ph probe back in my rez and it read 5.3 ph when it was originally thought to be 5.8 :O. So I think I got nute lockout. Dropping ppm in rez to around 200ppm and gonna go from there.

Glad I caught it early and hopefully i can get them back on track. Until next time stay green

I was thinking nitrogen abundance too. could also be heat. Try one thing at a time and give it time to correct or to stop getting worse if the damage is unrepairable. Be patient with them.

Ok well they are looking better as far as I can tell. Stems are fat as hell, almost half an inch thick. Cut off the fan leaves that showed the claw. They are looking a little pale. Gonna feed them r/o water 1 more time and than back to 200ppm feed and go from there hopefully I don't run into any more road blocks.

Kind of a crappy pic will try to get a better one. Switched ballast to 24/0 to stop it from flowering, because its throwing up singles. Dont think I will be running this strain again. The hso blue dream is killing it and not giving me any problems might be a keeper.

Is this a male or female pre flower can't really tell? Looks like a tear drop, don't see any stem under it. This plant is about 1 month old, first time I've ever had a plant go into flower on 18/6 and at 1k for 20 hours is gonna hit my pocket at the end of the month :-\

Ok think I got things back in order now got my ona bleech I will be using to sterilize things. And ditched the covert rez and went back to 5 gal buckets, and mix the nutes fresh. Not using the sm90 anymore unless needed as I think it threw off my ph in the coco. And is the reason behind my current problems.

Fed them with 6ml per gal an 3 part and 20ml b52 which came out to about 300ppm. If this is too hot for them there not getting ran next run. So far the hso bluedream is a beast and takes nutes well and my room setup. Thinking of running 9 next run

Setup carbon filter in room, just set it on a 5gal bucket and have it pulling through carbon filter and blowing in the room, as I could smell the babies threw the wall in the garage. Orderd another variac to slow fan down and quiet it up a little.

getting Solis tek 1000w 6k mh today also and I'm going to swap it out with the hps I've been using. Took 2 clones of the hso blue dream, 1 ww, and a og kush. Gonna wait till these root than I'm flipping the rest of the plants and gonna weed out the males :'( thinking that phantom that pre flowerd on me is a male.

Lookin good! And id have the carbon filter pulling air form in the room out of it if you want to help with the smell.

If that phantom has a good growing structure you should grab a couple pollen sacks and toss em on one of your girls when theyre 2-3 weeks in flower. haha. phantom x a good hso pheno would be nice. Help the phantom yield better too probably.

Thanks bro, was thinking of crossing them also. Might just leave the males in there and seed the whole crop lol got some tiersias mist I want to use tired of messing with reg seeds.

If I pull air out of room through carbon I would be sucking all my co2 out also. Running it in just the room kills Smell and can't smell it in the garage or out side anymore helps with air circulation also.

Ok got the new Solistek 1000w 6k mh installed and it is really bright, and blue they should really start bushing out now.



The phantom cookie is def male appears to be a stem under the ball. The prettiest male I have ever seen lol. Gonna collect pollen when the sacs fill up and I'm going to cross with the hso and the white widow.
There all doing so much better glad I caught that ph issue when I did. So happy it didn't get worse. It's hot today my room is running 90f and isn't affecting them at all. Running 1500 ppms co2.

Forgot about the CO2! haha and the males always grow so beautiful its upsetting when you gotta chop em.

Cross those 2 and then take that silver and use it on your favorite and cross it back with the mother blue dream or a phantom girl if you end up with one. This should bring a little stabilization to your fem seeds.

Looks more leaning to female than male,will find out soon. Funny tho as the other phantom and og arn't. Either way cut some clones of the blue dream and gonna throw them in if I have to cut some males.
