New Grow (2nd time ever)

I am curious about when to do what for the plant, how to basically manipulate it into being the best plant I can make it without basing it on too many other growers. The seeds are Purple Berry. It's about 3-4 days in for this one, and just put the other baby into the soil, I want to know when would be the best time to start bending, topping, & pruning. I am using Happy Frog soil and am wanting to know what would be optimal with making a compost tea, I have the idea of using Lavender, Teavana Tea mix, coconut water, High Nitrogen Bat Guano, Horse & Chicken manure (Composted of course) and adding citrus like fruits to the blend as time goes on, and completely WITHOUT fish pump as we brew tea that we drink ourselves we just let it sit for a prolonged amount of time, 72 hrs for water then allow the chlorine in it to kill off all bad bacteria's just stirring thoroughly every 6 hours. I am using 600W hydrofarm hood with a plantmax bulb planning on switching to a Hortilux Blue MH for Veg and am unsure which hortilux to use for bloom later on in the grow, I also am unsure what kind of compost tea to get going for bloom stages of growth, I know I want NO NItrogen Bat Guano, Mollases, Teavana Tea Mix, fruits such as Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Banana's and veggies like beets and carrots. Please assist me as I'm quite new at this and seeking avid farmers to help edify me into augmenting a successful career.
Thank you for your time.

I top after the 4th node most of the time. I start lst after that. I get amazing results from topping after the 4th node. I do top at the 6th or 7th node sometimes. Personally, depending on the strain, the plant can get hella bushy. :) my style... just be careful with bending, rub the stem until soft first... just my two cents on topping and lst...

Thanks a ton, any help with getting me where I want is very very helpful.
So what I'm getting from the LST article is to bend my plant as it grows, trim one side of fan leaves off and allow the other side to thrive from light penetration, aswell as topping and what not as it grows, correct me if I'm wrong, just trying to understand his entire process. The only thing I may have done in the past was FIMing. And am unsure if I was doing it correctly, would I take the razor blade and basically circle it around the stalk to get that shape described or how exactly would I succumb to augmenting this as correctly as I can? Any help and input is highly appreciated.

Thanks again.

I am also curious where would be the best place to place my water to distill.
If I put it in gallon containers would 72 hours be enough to leave it set, would I want it in Direct sun light or indirect sun light, or would it even matter.
I had the issue of giving my plants water almost directly from tap before and never want that problem again.
How long would I need it to set out, should it be covered or not, and where should I set it direct light or indirect. (They are plain Gallon containers - and a 50 gallon drum)
And how might I ensure my previous experience doesn't happen again besides buying water every week?

Thank you

I always test my waters PH levels and it was balanced how I want it but it was way too early for me to feed the soil with it.
I am trying to figure out exactly how long would I need my water out, given container size a gallon jug and 50 gallon drum.
Would it be best to keep the top on, or let the air reach the base of it as I shake it (Gallon jug) or stir it (Big Drum) every 6 hours would it be best to leave it in direct sun light or in indirect?
What temp would be optimal also, something so others can ensure to me that it's getting distilled over time.

Thanks again,

Leave the top off in indirect light. I like 65f for my to feel comfortable and to ensure that the chlorine dissipates completely... :) 50gal drum should take 2.5 days with top off in indirect light. If you notice your tank loosing to much water via evaporation, put the lid just resting on top of the tank...

Okay, thanks much I'm still unsure how long to leave the gallon jugs out. About 24 hours to 36 hours equivilent? All at 65 degrees. Lid off (unless elevated evaporation.)
Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

Anyone out there able to assist me with choosing the best Hortilux bulb for the Bloom stages of growth, I know I want the Hortilux 600w Blue for veg but now I'm seeking a blooming stage bulb, any assistance is highly appreciated.. (600w)
And I'm still unsure how long to anticipate leaving out straight 1 gallon jugs to dissipate the chlorine in it.
Would 36 hours be sufficient enough?
Thanks again in advance.
