if u have not gotten pots

look into the fabric pots/smart bags...............they air prune the roots so they do not ball up on u and over watering is almost impossible with it being fabric what ever the soil does not want to hold leaks out everywhere

rem 1 gallon of soil is 1 month of growth/life with out need for feeding

last thing i got for u .........u know about the city water correct..........if not then here u go city water has chemicals in it those will kill the little goodies in the soil and harm the plant .to bypass this u fill up a tub with hot water and leave it come back when it is cold ..........now jug it up and u have good clean water to use ........(when i say jugs i mean water jugs or juice jugs not milk jugs they are no good u can not clean them no matter how much u try the water in them always turns foul)

if u set the jugs someplace warm with direct sunlight u will see little bubbles forming in the water this is Oxygen desolving in the water becuase the jugs (water ones that look like milk 98 cents store brand water) has a 8% exchange rate and this is good for the plants it keeps them from drowning when u water them .............i know this from distiling they use this same trick to make the yeast grow quicker in the mash

Cut the excess of the cup of 1/4 inch from the dirt line, this will expose more air to the plant, repot once the plant is about he size of the cup or when roots grow out of the many holes you have in the base, you will need better lights than that shit ...start looking or perish trying ...lol

Last series, pic #4 -- better get 2 toothpicks and gently force off the seedcap from that seedling. Hold your thumb so it supports the s'ling from behind and use a toothpick to slide the seedcap off. Stubborn caps is a big killer of new ones. Also, I didn't see any holes drilled in the solo bottoms. Proper drainage will go a long way towards thwarting overwatering woes. Good luck, BigSteve. PS -- You will really enjoy the plant marked "Critical +". It's a good one!

what the crazy red guy said ( not calling u crazy but the red guy from starwars was a nutter cartoon and movie verison)

if u are planning on using a feed look at your line now ........some have root and branching things that has a simple form of N the plants like this is ok to use in a weak verison to help them............it will make bigg different the heat and open tub let all the chemicals leach out ........if u pour some in a bowl and get some cold tap water in anouther bowl .........smell them then taste u should notice the different yourself

and as the red guy said u should transplant them soon .........as the roots grow out the plant has a idea how big it can get it why when u water in a big pot u go around the outside in with the water so the plant knows it has all that room for the rooting..........as big as it grows above ground it does just as big underground

bigsteve thanks for telling me about the seedcap i would have never knew also i have atleast four nice size holes on each side goin around the cup with one more right in the center at the bottom of the cup so i think it should be pretty good on drainage. And i cant wait to try all the strains in my first grow especially Critical+ ive heard such good things.

IMAG0086.jpgIMAG0088.jpgIMAG0087.jpgIMAG0085.jpgIMAG0084.jpg2/11/14 a little more then a week after the last update and the plants are starting to look good the milky way is the smallest plant only because the seedcap was stuck on it longer then it should have been but since i removed it things seem to be much better and there are only 4 plants now bcuz i killed my pineapple express after the last update completely knocked the whole cup on the floor

they look fine

my advice is to transfer them into something bigger as soon as u can ..............personally i like the fabric soil bags for my grows since u can not really over water.flushing them is simple if u need too.....and the roots air prune and do not ball up and choke self out

u need to let the roots go deep and find the edges of the grow this will tell them how big they can grow ............if u wait to long it will stunt or slow the growth rate down

wait untill the soil is dry them move them into the bigger pot and water them leave them alone 2 days and water with 1 cup more then last time......if u have feed start it weak stuff when u see anouther node then go to full str and fallow your grow plan to the end

Ok so ive been goin through some stuff and completely neglected the plants for a couple of days no water also it was time to transfer them into something bigger so they were all f##ked up when i got home leaves all drooping also changing color so i put them into bigger pots and gave them a good watering and added a little fert spike to the soil (4-4-4) and i only gave them half of that so its been two days and things seem to be getting back to normal except for some yellowing on certain plants leaves as seen on the critical kush, critical +, and a little on the Cali HasH the Milky Way seems to be doin fine, but also theres some curling of the leaves; can you tell me is this jus normal after stressing a plant or is it a different deficiency that i can take care of? Thanks&Keep growin:leaf:

Typical burn from FF. It should clear up as the plants grow but you'll lose a few leaves in the process. Don't over think it and make things worse. Overall plants look good. Nice job.

plastic tubs are also great cheap alternative to pots, and the three gal buckets at dollar store.

thanks dannyboy602 ive heard that the FF tends to burn the younger plants thats why i added the dolomite lime to try to help with that but i think your right i might just be over thinking things .
