New Set Up (Pics)

the old set up seemed to be, TOO hot
so, i kind of switched it up & added a bigger fan to suck the air inside & push it out
along with a little fan from the inside, to keep air moving, which works alright
but, now, i feel that it's a little below temperature, lol
i also added foil, since i couldn't find that mylar thing, people use
but, if anyone notices a problem with my grow box, please say something
i need all the advice i can possibly get, here are some pictures, outside, in

the white thing on the right, is a fluorescent light
i just rotate my pot, every other day
just so that, my plant, equally gets it's light in

that's my set up... so, is there anything wrong?
i want to fix it up, just so that, it can be, close to perfect

is the foil TOO MUCH? i don't want, burn spots, or whatever
if i find mylar, would that/can it give my plant, some burn spots?
the lights i have now, wouldn't be enough for flowering, would it? just wondering

lmao @ the VHS collection, those tapes are so old
i would use DVD's, but, i watch them toasted, lol

Definitely get rid of the aluminum foil. It will certainly create hot-spots and is not appropriate for a grow room. What is the problem you are having finding mylar? It is readily available from just about every hydroponics shop. If, for some reason, you cannot get mylar, go with Panda Film. If you can't get that, just paint your walls flat white. Those three options are all superior to using foil which, like I said, is totally inappropriate for a grow room.

yeah, i have been using white computer paper
someone told me, that works better than foil
but, i haven't seen any difference, when i used it

from what 'weed monkey' is saying
i'm using the dull side of it

foil was the last thing to turn to
i haven't been to any gardening centers
but, once i get mylar, i'll replace the computer paper
i'm switching from foil, back to the white computer paper =/

thanks, for the advice people

^^these two are funny^^

back to the thread...I would ditch the foil completely its crap. The computer paper is some clever stoner shit! Flat white paint is good as well. There is this whole section on reflective material in the growfaq.

Be careful about using computer paper (or any paper for that matter) as a reflective surface. Paper is an ideal breeding ground for all sorts of molds and fungus. The humidity sets into the paper and, presto, you've got love nest that any mold or fungus would be proud to call "home" Go with something like Mylar, panda film, or just flat white paint. Basically, anything non-porous that you can wipe down and sanitize.

Try the sporting goods section for "emergency blankets" they are "mylar" like blankets that are extremely thin (and easy to tear up you are warned). Fold the blanket a few times to increase the thickness of the material and prevent any light from passing thru. Then tack it up. I never noticed a heat increase, of course I have good ventilation as well.

alright, i'm going out for some mylar today
the computer paper deal, i switch it every 2 days or so
once the paper gets wrinkled from, spraying the leaves
thanks, for all the different uses of reflectivity

what kind of pH meter do you guys have?
mine sucks, it doesn't even work right

it stays on 7, even with the probe in my soil
just doesn't move at all, i put it as close to my stem as possible
does anyone know, how deep? i just didn't want to break roots
if i did shove it down all the way, i don't know
it just sucks...

EDIT: i just checked my plant, but since i changed my g room
it looks like its sagging, the leaves aren't sticking straight out anymore
is that normal? or is does it look unhealthy? :(

wet from spraying leaves..

Plants will do that if they are overwatered, maybe let it dry out for a day or two . A CHEAP source of Mylar is to save your potato chip bags , look for a bag that has lots of silver / foil in the art work , when you are done eating the chips look at the inside of the bag , it's MYLAR ......:o

^ nice, lol
i never thought of the potato chip bags
wow, that's cool, thanks man
i'll let my plant dry out, for few days

i spray my leaves every 30 minutes
i get scared that the tops will burn
so, i constantly spray the tops of my leaves...
should i stop that?
