New to the game, but bought two clones!

So, I JUST got 2 clones last night. Potted them this morning, and they’re droopy. I’ll attach a picture. I’ma newbie, and have zero clue what I’m doing. Figured I’d buy and try, if they die I’m only out like 30 bucks lmao I am in a desert climate. I’m about an hour past Palm Springs, Ca, so I don’t know if outside temp is a contributing factor, or if I did something wrong during potting, over watered, or why they’re drooping. What am I doing wrong?

That being said, anyone with information, tips, or tricks, please, send them my way. I’d like for these to flower and give me some nug rather than die in 2 days and end up in the trash.

What potting soil. What were the clones in when you bought them?

Don't put them in the sun for a few days. Out in the shade is fine they r stressed from transplant. Thats tripple stress on them, new light type, transplant, and intense light

They aren't drinking that much yet and transpiring all their moisture out. plus probably rich amount of nutrients in the soil for them to get used to. Put them in the shade and spray em down once with some water. Get the undersides of the leafs

Here’s a pic of the soil bag! Thank you for replying! They were on a shelf in a little tray with multiple other clones. Base is like a green mossy looking square that’s wet. I’m assuming that’s the rooting compound, I obviously potted them the way I got them in that potting soil pictured. Gave them enough water to get the soil completely wet, and I’ve kept them out of the sun except for an hour or two. So, shade, get bottom of leaves wet, and they should perk back up?

Yup

Wait to water untill the pot is noticeably lighter. Water long and slow.

Welcome to Rollitup! There are refreshments in the back against the wall. Don’t forget to try the edibles in the mini fridge. :bigjoint:

Thanks for the help I really appreciate it!! I’m going to get plastic pots and switch to them.

also, Riot is my sons name, and I am his father. Therefore, Riots Daddy lol
It's best to gradually upsize the pots to keep on top of the watering, too much is as bad as not enough. I run plastic all the way through because of low humidity like you have. This site has about everything you need to know without bias.

Still droopy today, with really no signs of improvement… all I’ve done is mist them with water and let them sit inside. Stalk is still upright and pretty strong, but the arms and leaves are all laying down… there was a few hours where one( in the tan pot) started to try and lift its arms up, (I could tell, as the leaves were almost off the top of the soil) but that quickly ended and they are back to laying down. Pic attached, any further advice? Or do I just keep waiting?

@raratt thanks for the link! I’ll check it out a little more tonight after dinner. Really no improvement today from yesterday, so hopefully something in your link can give me a magical solution to get these girls back to full strength!
