Turned the fans down at lights out to help it stay a little warmer in there tonight.

I will be redoing my ventilation system next week to give it a power boost. New design already figured out, I guess my case fans aren't enough I need a work horse. I'm hoping this will keep the high temp closer to 80 rather than 90.

Temps have been better today since it's been cooler today. I managed to stay between 80 and 83 with the lights on.

Also think raising the light has prevented further light stress. I haven't noticed new damage and new growth is kicking up again. Hopefully this trend continues until I improve my exhaust fan.

What are your on/off hrs? In flower I run 8pm to 8am to keep the temp down or up depending on the season. Is the room ventilated? Is there a source of fresh air and a exhaust vent?

I go from 12pm to 12am, this seems to work best with temps for me. For ventilation I am using 2 case fans for intake, an 8inch Honeywell fan modified to fit an exit duct, and two case fans hanging inside to blow on the plants. I just upgraded today from just using 4 case fans (2 in, 2 out) because it wasn't moving enough hot air out. I know my ventilation is ghetto but my new 8 inch fan really sucks the heat out and my temps have been great today (high was 82) and I've spent less than $30 total on it. Also there is a window about 2 feet from my intake I keep cracked to draw in fresh cool air.

Subbed. I still think i'd put the plants directly next to eachother and play with light height to get as much concentrated light as possible. just my 1/50th of a dollar though :) looking good can't wait to see how they turn out. I thru some rep your way as well.

I got em as close as they will go unless I ditch the styrofoam plates I have underneath the bags to contain overflow. I might get brave and try to lower the light now that my heat situation is better, I'm scared though! I might wait a day before jumping into that.

Thanks for the rep and advice!

Actually I got them a little closer now. Just took some creative rearranging.

My girls are just loving these new lower temps. They are taking off on new growth. I fed them their first nutes yesterday. I used 1 tbs per gallon molasses and 1/3 strength miracle grow house plant food. I plan on feeding every two weeks as I don't want to make the rookie move of over doing it. I also add a couple drops of molasses to distilled water to water them regularly with. They seem to love it.

Ya know, I tried looking this up as to not look like a complete tard but this is the first forum I've ever been a member of and I need to know wtf ''subbed'' means... Maybe a stupid question but I haven't found the answer on Google. Guess that's what comes with being an FNG.

Actually laughed out loud there mate I learned it last night means I am 24hrs ahead of you ;)
Some rep for your Journal .... Google Rep :D

In case anyone was wondering what my closet is lined with its tin foil and 2mil opaque plastic sheeting.

I know tin foil isn't the best but I figure if plastic can diffuse light in a greenhouse it will work for not causing hot spots in my closet.

Well shit! Looking at the plants today and I can see small crystals forming. I feel like a proud parent who's child just started kindergarten or some shit like that.

Well the plants seem to be thriving again today. Temps and humidity have been perfect. Highs of 81 and 51 respectively. I had a couple leaves turn yellow and fall off yesterday. I'm thinking this is because I waited to give them nutes. They seem to have recovered and no more leaves are turning.

It got a little colder last night than I would like. I'm using a space heater and have been messing with thermostat settings to get the perfect lights out temp drop. First night temp stayed 77. Second night I turned it down too much and got a low of 57. Burr! Well I think I got the right setting for tonight, I want to go from 80 to around 65-70 at night.

The GDP's in back are definitely my favorite so far. I can tell they are going to bud before the bubbas and are going to have nice dense colas. The bubbas are just a little further behind think this has to do with the bit of stativa in it.
