Newbie getting started - we have liftoff!

thanks for the replies - i sowed the seeds late Friday night, first seedling visible sunday afternoon - i used the 1"peat cups with seeding mix - so now after 5 days i have 6 out of 8 Dosido cookies and 16 out of 18 pineapple punch sprouted. all have now been up-potted to 4" pots, using a mix of potting soil, leaf mold compost, my own horse manure and veggie scrap compost, and fertilizer - we have a great organic fertilizer here called Microlife which i buy wholesale through my daughter small farm account. really great stuff! i am just using a basic shop light, about 2" above the plants - the same set up i just used for tomatoes and peppers with great success, because of the iceapocolypse we went through here in the Houston area i kept the tomatoes under them for 2 months and they rocked the whole time, so i am assuming thats fine for these as well.

so my question now is - how long can they stay there? i am not sure how fast they will grow, i assume i should expect to repot again before i can sex them (4-6 weeks?) which is when i will go to the ground with them. any help or comments, i am feeling my way in the dark here so tips, comments and critique is appreciated!

i actually only plan to grow 1 of each, placed amongst my peppers, even plan to tie a few fake peppers on them so from 30'+ it will just look like another pepper plant. really only 1 neighbor to worry about and he keeps to himself. i was thinking about 1/2 lb per plant - too optimistic? more like 1/4 lb?or less? the seeds were free from a Rx source, with any success with these then next year i will go ahead and buy a strain more conducive to my climate
