Ok ive got a couple of simple questions.

I recently got my hands on a clone so its guaranteed female; 1 clone only. Only 1 plant :D

My questions are;

1: How often to I water it during each phase?
2: What humidity levels do i need during each phase?
&
3:How would I adjust the humidity of a small cabinet

hey this is my first real grow and right now i have 3 sprouts and im looking into stronger lights because i only have CFLs. i was just wondering is it ABSOLUTELY required that you have a ballast for HPS lights

i have no problem spending $20 on a bulb but its the $200 on a ballast for the bulb that kills me.

or does anyone know where to get CHEAP ballasts. :-(
My local hydro shop have some DIY Ballast kit for 1000w HPS for like 140$ but unfortunately they don't ship. Maybe some of your local shop carry Bare Bones Ballast too.

I am a first time grower and I am not sure when to transplant. I Plan on using bat guano mixed in the soil and i want to transplant for flower. Should i mix the soil and transplant before i go to 12/12 or at the same time?

Thanks all

I'd say at do it 2-3 days before flowering so the plants have some time to recover if they get stressed out due to the transplant.

yo man iv been reading up on cloning and people seem to have different opinions...
should i dip the root in hormone and then put it directly into soil or should i put it in water before the soil....
also if i put it in soil first i was advised to keep the soil soaking wet until it roots properly, but how will i know when the plant has rooted well so that i dont kill it by over-watering?????

I just started my first grow with weed. Im growing haze 19 x skunk. I started the seeds in this shit called Rapid rooter natural seed starter. Seeds have germinated so how tall and how many set of leafs should i expect them to have after a week, then two weeks?

Hey Senor, i'm in north texas and i'm bout to guerrilla grow. Would leaving a layer of potting soil approx 3 inches deep work for nutrients if i'm growing on soil i assume to be nutritious? or should i periodically add nutrients to my plot? what are basic things i can do to increase yield/bud quality? if im planting within 100 yards to a large creek, will that work to keep the soil hydrated?

Ok..so,after wasting a couple seeds from god knows what..they never sproted, and died....my first seed attempts were the seed boutqiue freebies..none spouted in rockwool...then I tried sprouting 5 of my nirvana ak48 seeds..they were placed in a cup of water, and placed on top of my cpu monitor..the next day,I placed them in my rapid rooters..I instanmtly noticed that the rapid rooters BEAT rockwool to a pulkp in terms on root growth,etc....so now its my preffered seedling starters...to make a long story short,I now have only 2 ak48 seedlings, and they only have their first set of leaves here is my question..its been a ROCKY start for them...at first, once they srpouted, they were only kept in a window sill for a day, theyr not strestedh or anything though....then I moved them under some cfls;and theyw ere in a quite HOT temp..around 85-92f.......

then,i though i was getting ruched,so i threw the seedlingsd with the rapid rooter plugs into the garbage..they were there for halfhour or so..then i placed them back under the lights......so has all this neglect, stress, etc have them strssed out.....they are now in 16oz beer cups, with a coco coir perlite medium....i watered them yesterday with ph;ed water....and today i will water with superthrive to give them a boost....

so do i have anything to fear??will they be alright??and if they are stressed..will the superthrive fix em' up???!

the temps are cool now..with a fan blowing air in the box..eveything is managebale now..but im just worried that they stared their life in a not so otimal way...+rep to whoever helps me out man..

juicy pics help loads. seedlings like warm temps and lots of humidity. did you dome them? spray the leaves with a spray of plain water. if the plants are still small take a sandwich bag and place over the beer mug and you can use a rubberband to secure the plastic. this should help create humidity. to start seeds take a snack size tupperware cont. get two sheets paper towel i like bounty. rip the towels in small peices. place half the towel in the cont. place your seeds spray with water then cover completly with the rest of the towel the spray. place in a dark warm enviroment.
ive gotten good resalts from this method. after the seed has sprouted place in your med the tap root will grow as long as the towel is moist. check every day to make shur that the towels are moist. not wet.

hope it helps
