hey everyone, just wanted to give a little update. these NL autos are very petite in size. I mentioned this to Nirvana (plus the bad germiation rate) and they are going to send me some replacements. they are so bright green in color, unlike any strain i have seen before so I believe the two that made it through germination are going to be A maybe B+ grade bud. Nirvana is a great company and they believe in keeping their customers happy, trust me I can vouche from first hand experience. My little Northern Lights girls are still pretty small but are doing very well. Very pretty in color already and I have got some Nutes for Veg and Flowering stages but do AutoFlowering strains even need much Nutes? I got some Schultz Bloom Plus for flowering stage but I was going to start off at a very diluted dose then what they suggest in the directions, probably 1/8 the strength to see how they like it first. I am using Organic beet juice molasses for veg stage, it is 0-8-0 so just 8 percent Nitrogen, think that will do for these autos?

Hey everyone! I've been extremely busy as of late with college and life in general. Here is an update and some pictures of my Northern Lights Feminized Autoflower.

As you can see from the pictures above, the NL AF sprouts seem very small to me. They poked their heads through the soil about ten days ago. My oldest sprout is very petite in size but is growing rapidly, no doubt that these are autos because hopefully they won't exceed 3 ft. in height because I am limited on growing space. Also, how old should I wait for them to get before putting them under a 150 watt high pressure sodium bulb? Right now I have 2 6500k 15 watt and 1 42 watt 2700k Compact Fluro hanging above them, about 2-3 inches between the light and the top of my babies.

Really same here. I'm going to use the CFLs in conjunction with my 4 ft. T5 HO and my 150 W HPS. I think the combination of spectrums should do well for my two NL autos im growing at the moment.

In regards to your height concerns I just measured my girls up for you and they are coming in at 43 inches 30 in. and 40 in. My shortest is very bushy and I was concerned she wasn't going to get enough light since I kept needing to move my T5 up for the other girls so I threw in some CFLs.

Mine broke soil on June 13th and I have had them on 18/6 and 20/4 but 2.5 months later I still am not seeing any bud production so yesterday I switched them to 12/12. I wish I had some grow experience so I could compare to before for you but I don't. The only thing that I did notice that indicated to me that they were trying to flower is some of the pistils were changing from white to an amber/brown color.

Yeah a lot of people say Nirvana's Northern Light Autos have a 5 week veg. time. Kinda long for an auto but i guess longer veg time = bigger yield. I would switch them to 12/12 for about 5 days that might help, but may not since autos flower by maturity not light schedule changes. I was reading on here someone bought some Regular photoperiod Northern Light Fems, started 12/12 from seed and harvested in 58 days from seed to harvest. That will be what I do for my next grow. His yield was pretty decent too ill try to find the link to his grow journal.

Well heres a pic these are actually 2 Non autos (Strains are Warlock and Motivation..freebees from Nirvana) and the auto NL i topped to see wat happened. The tall one is a normal NL auto. I have 4 of them under a 400w MH and 6 of them under a 600w HPS. All of em 5 weeks from seed today and been in FFOF since then. Sorry bout the poor quality I dont have a solid camera at the moment. Or else i would have a legit journal going.
nice let me know how the warlock comes out, i have a rocklock seedling about 20 inches tall, thats warlock x rockstar, its a DNA strain.

Here is a quick picture update. Just plain distilled water, no nutes until the 4th or 5th week for me. Im doing all organic, soil, nutrients, everything. Here's my babies about 2 weeks old now.
They are filling out pretty nicely. Still just using 3 CFLs as of now. Around week 5 I will switch to my HPS and four foot fluro 3 tube lights. Let me know what you guys think, feel free to post away.

will do gona be a while tho, got her mothering to cut 18 clones off her and flower under LEDs indoor
I have been interested in this new LED technology. How are the harvests compared to an HPS? And I saw some plans to make my own on here but I didnt know if it would be worth the time. Could you give me a lil info on LED Lighting and how do the buds turn out from LED? Dense or Fluffy?

Yeah I had 2 seeds that didn't germ so I told "charlie" from Nirvana and he not only made up for the bad seed but sent me a whole new pack of Northern Light FEM Autos. I was very happy to see 5 beans inside my package! I think Nirvana is good, anyone have anything on Attitude, I was thinking about ordering some strains from them and if you have done business I want to know what the best strains from those guys are. I heard the Auro Indica was the bomb.

Nice setup dude! Also love the pits, very nice looking breeds! Hey I have a question I am growing 4 of these NLAF FEM plants in one big 22 gallon rubbermaid container. Do you think it would be okay, I mean they are spaced apart evenly longways across the container, kinda like being outdoors in the dirt or would it not be a good idea to do this?
