Ok so my old tent zipper ripped so I just finished setting up this mars hydro tent with a sp3000. The tent is nice quality and very comparable to the thickness of a gorilla tent. Very pleased with it I would recommend they add small access ports for cords and pumps.

I set up the sp3000 and it is super bright just as expected. Its got all the stuff I like to see on an LED rig -- meanwell driver and 301b diodes. Mars has come a long way since their blurple lights!

On the side I will have a ts1000w ready for some side lighting. On the opposite corner of the tent will be my oscillating fan

As of now I set up a 27 gallon tote with a pump for auto watering, with a drain table going through the bottom of the tent to a 5 gallon bucket.

The tent is actually a little smaller than 2' x 4' so it cracked the very corners of my plastic pan but it's still going to work fine.

The 2 plants i am growingare Gelato 33 x zkittlez. They have been outside and neglected , I was gifted them from a buddy. They started budding so it will be fun to document the re-veg. I just transplanted them and things are almost set up completely! I have a feeling they will bounce back quickly into veg, from there I will defoliate and do a few preventative maintenance for bugs before she goes to flower since they've been outdoors for a while. Wish me luck!

Plants have been neglected outside , only fed tap water for at least a month. I have noticed some aphids so I transplanted and am going to re veg them and treat them

Thanks buddy! Great to see you here man glad to see your still around I hope all is well.

Here's a small update , the plants seem to no longer be locked out and are showing the first signs of reveg. It looks like small little shoots starting to come up from the buds with single leaves. In my experience reveg can be a very slow process and will end up with tons of shoots everywhere this should be fun. For now though these girls need some tender love and care to bring them back to good health.
Hopefully in a week I see some new lush growth

Here we go it looks like they're pulling out of the lockout finally. They seem to finally be drinking water so I upped the amount of light.

Spindly shoots with single bladed leaves popping out of the buds is a good sign. Once I get a few dominant shoots I'll start removing the small stuff and old buds. Once they show some vigor and are cleaned up I will do some pest sprays as a preventative, these came from outside. Re-veg is so odd and slow at the beginning!20211013_065301.jpg

When I went on vacation the ph was 5.0 on my feeding reservoir when I came home. The plants still look locked out but I decided to chop some of the mess off. Here's a before and after. I switched from 2 part megacrop back to 3 part gh for now, I have less swings with my GH. Once these nodes grow out I'll cut more of the less dominant ones off and start some IPM

pH dialed in and they seem much happier today, I boosted the light to 100%
Hopefully a few more dominant nodes shoot out soon they appear to be leaving lockout so that will allow me to cut more scraggly stuff out and finally start doing some pest treatments 20211109_063942.jpg

Growth is starting to speed up. I finally got deep into the foliage and removed all the little regrowth

I cut off a ton of shoots today and put a bunch of these little red trainer benders on the stalks. I need to remember to take them off in a few weeks. I am now cleaning up my 5x5 tent to get ready for some new strains. So far this Mars hydro tent and light are putting in work, I like the whole setup alot. This strain smells very nice it's Gelato 33 x skittlez

I think I'll hit them with some pesticides this week for preventative. I think I'm gonna scrog these , also I need to put a circulating fan in there

The foliage is getting very thick
Res change tomorrow, then will be thinning things out again and hopefully putting nets down for a scrog. The leaves are showing a little damage so I think it's time to dial in the watering frequency, I have them only being watered twice a day with alot of water. Now that they're drinking ill probably change it to 6 or 8 small waterings

I will be germinating seeds this weekend for my 5x5 tent , genetics will be bob bitchens beans , 3thirteen, and chuckers paradise. I narrowed things down and decided to do stuff without GG4 in it. After this try I'm going to find any packs with gg4 or gg4 crosses and do a gg4 run20211202_202341.jpg

Beans are into the pots!
I really need to get the two big plants trimmed down and scrogged so I can flip. I put them on an 18/6 cycle now they seem to be much healthier, and I've caught up on watering. Still a little bit of tweaking to do20211208_070315.jpg20211208_070259.jpg20211208_070250.jpg

I usually only use a heat mat and dome during the winter when it's dry to prevent the coco from drying too fast.
I learned last run it is good to have house humidity dialed in at least to 50% to keep the watering frequency normal. On very dry days the plants need more water and less nutes so just controlling humidity is a huge plus when doing coco coir in these air pots, and also keeping the fan not pointed at the pots is important.

@Inkbird this IPT-2CH heat controller is pretty cool big shout out for letting me try it. I never got the refund on it and was wondering if I can still get one after I review it on Amazon now that I've used it. I'm looking forward to getting the app for my phone and checking out all the features. I am having a hard time setting up my IBS-TH2 which used to work on my engbird app. The new heat controller has a different app called pulse pro , is there one app I can use for everything? Thanks!

These came up pretty fast. I'm gonna have to get the light closer and get the dome off and add a fan before they get too lanky

Finally chopped out a bunch of foliage and fit them to a screen. They're looking like they are fully out of the lockout. I want to try to do a few layers of trellis this time to avoid them falling over late flower. Last run was a nightmare lol

Some pics from today
Looks like something it wrong. Yellowing and clawing leads me to believe I'm not watering correctly
I upped the feed to 1000ppm backed the light off a little and increased watering intervals. I'm guessing they may also be getting too cold I should really do something about that but it's vented into my house and I'm uncomfortable above 70f

Ph has been drifting pretty wild too so I'm going to keep an eye on that daily

All the new plants made it to the surface!
If anyone has any input on why the tops of the plants stems are turning purple and turning a limey green please chime in. Hopefully What I changed helps but w20211231_072816.jpg20211231_072830.jpg20211231_072850.jpg20211231_072859.jpg
