Alrighty gang, so here is my casual indoor CFL soil grow.

10% mulch 30% perlite 60% soil
Under about 23,000 lumens of CFL
Temps in room don't vary much usually around 70F with a deviation of 5F maybe.
Fed very little nutes except minute amount of MG in veg stage, grew well until a pH problem which seemed fixed for a few weeks then fushed before flowering
Started flowering about 2.5 weeks ago
Been feeding Dr. Earth Bud & Bloom about 1-2 TBSP per plant every other week
Watering about every 5-7 days depending, soil does not seem to dry very quickly
I have some Gnat stickies down as I've noticed a few, also just put some Mosquito Dunks on the top as yesterday I suspected maybe it could be aphids from the soil?
The buds just do not seem to be growing very well at all. The soil I used was organic with okay N levels, thus why I haven't fed them hardly any N. Yet they're still showing some dark green leaves. I'd just love some input im baffled.

EDIT: Those saying not enough light, I missed the pics of the yellowing and burned out leaves. I'll post in a second but I promise you it isn't a light issue. I have twice as many CFLs as my last plant and that one grew fine.

^^ what cassinfo said... more light... and mix the spectrum... heavier on the 2700k for flower but mix in some 6500k...

how long did you veg them for? three weeks flower, depending no how much sativa in in them, and how long you veg'ed them for, you really shouldn't be seeing huge buds at this point..
are you seeing any pistil formation at all? if so, i'd not sweat it, might just be a heavy sativa and or not veg'ed long enough and it still had some growth to do before flower formation..

pixs would help..

Let's have a look.
It isn't root bound is it?

The first 2 weeks or so of 12/12, she is still in veg mode. So you really should not be seeing buds at this point, mostly flowers.

Here is a week 3 flower pic... (this is an example week 3, NOT the plant in question)

It's fine. With cfl it takes longer to transition to flower. I don't count the first week or two after flip.

It wouldn't hurt to have more light. And it doesn't have to be 2700. Cfl have enough reds and blue in 2700 and 6500. A mixed spectrum is best.

Don't worry about counting by a calendar or breeder times. If the breeder says eight weeks figure ten at least.

Some of your leaves look awfully dark and burnt on the tips. It may be nitrogen abundance, and that is a common reAson for flower delay.

Agreed if just starting week 3 as in day 15 you should have calyxes starting to form your not gonna put on weight that isn't enough light to do much maybe an oz or so but will be airy. I've grown with CFL they work for those being secretive with their grows but again don't produce dick just heat

Shit here's mine mid week 4 and then mine now end of week 6 they pack on fast
Those look great, I'll definitely update to see where I'm at. I'm antsy but man I do expect more than that.

You switched to bloom nutes to early. The stretch burnt up all the n. You need to feed it some nitrogen.
Thanks for reply. My pH is also high though despite efforts to lower it, that's why I'm hesitant to to put N as I thought that was the prob with my soil in veg mode. Could I do a small dose of MG to help? I don't want to pay for a bunch of nutes I'll use once. Wouldn't the random dark green leaves indicate too much N still?

See that's what I'm saying though, mine look nothing like that. Seeing pistils but not much else, and even those aren't hardly growing. Yours look just like mine otherwise though haha.

I had a plant that had been flowering for four weeks and didn't even show a pistil.

Relax man she'll get there.

How do you know your pH is high? How are you checking it? Run off is meaningless and will have you chasing your tail.

I'm using a pH wet/dry, light/dark, and pH tester from Home Depot. I tried testing runoff from my last grow and it was all over the place. This I test the water/nutes that go in, and I'll occasionally plug it in the soil and see what it gives me.

Do not trust that piece of junk. Ph is fine or it wouldn't be all green and healthy looking...you are feeding it plenty all this plant needs is wattage and time & she will show you flowers.....wattage is all that matters when it comes to bud development. Be patient and upgrade your lighting
