northern light street question

Ok I poped two northern lights but like a newborn I used soil with almost no perlite and they grew but stopped for almost a week. They are fem but my question is do you guys think it stressed them enough to herm? I got more but poped just two as a test run needless to say I wont be doing that again

If you are concerned about the soil do a remix and repot the two. Use at least 80w's with bonnet and shielding starting out. I always put rocks in the bottom of my plantpots for drainage purposes. It is also not a good practice to use watercatchers that leave saturated water at the base of the plantpot. Potplants "like" frequent watering and good drainage. Mix something up that has to be watered about every three days on average.

Its taken care of now I was just hope in I didn't stress them bad enough for herm. The plant never showed any bad signs but the soil had to be bad wet for about a week and the roots were sitting In it but never even drooped

Canna is a very resilient plant. You are probably ok. So many people put the fear of "hermies" out there, when in actuality these plants can handle alot. Especially a stable strain like NL.

A fem ceed has the exact same potential to herm as a reg ceed. I have been growing for 15 years, and I use both fems and regulars, depending on what my goals are and if the particular strain is available in fem or reg.

If I plan to just grow out the plants, I prefer fems. If I am on a pheno hunt, and want to make ceeds, I choose regs. And then you have some breeders who dont make fems. If I like that particular strain, I will find a pheno I like, take clones, treat one clone with collidal silver, and make my own fem ceeds of said strain.

All I ever smoked was bagseed as were in a small town will this nl be that much better? I have a bagseed that started flowering about two weeks ago and showing small but nice lookin ng buds. Right now just one under a six hundred watt light and thinking about putting my nl and the one clone I got u der the light with it. I just hope I get at least 200 grams. Its had been tsp share of trouble but doesnt look dead so surly I can get a third a gram per watt

It depends, I have seen some great herb from bagceed, but, for the most part, you will have better, more stable genetics from your NL.

If you have the space, then yes, I would absolutely put the NL in with your other plant. Be sure to check the plant from bagceed often, as the probabilty of a hermi is higher from bagceed because of the unstable/unknown genetics.

Setting a goal of 200 grams under a 600 watt light is very realistic, and with time and experience, you will have no problem hitting 400! You may surprise yourself and hit it now!

Most strains take a good 7-10 days to actually begin flowering, so IMO, she looks good for 2 weeks.

Breeders strain descriptions ofren give flowering times of (example) 8 weeks. I have found, if you start that count after you start seeing actual flower clusters, and not from the date you flip to 12/12, then the times are usually spot on. So if you track your time from 12/12 flip, be sure to flower her at least an extra week longer then as described.

I've done alot of reading but when its real its not quite as easy ya know. I just pray I can make my investment back because im dedicated to giving my lil girl a better life than me where she doesnt need a man for anything. Me being a convicted feminized jobs almost null. I mean dont get me wrong I wanna burn some good ok but i mainly want this as a job till I can see better.

Just be careful and be safe. DO NOT TELL ANYONE WHAT YOU ARE DOING. You cant provide for your little girl if you are locked up.

Odor control is also very important to keeping your secret.
