Last grow was my first and probably last auto flower grow, auto white widow by Dinafem. I'm a big Dinafem fan boy, I'm growing their photo period OG Kush currently. I had a number of issues with that grow, but the stretch on her was unreal. She would have been atleast 6 foot tall without scrog and multiple rounds of super cropping. I would have topped and fim'd if she were a photo but I didn't think I had the time in veg to do that, cuz ya know the whole auto's grow small and fast thing. She did neither, took over a 100 days, mighta been due to all the super cropping, I also had a bad case of pythium which probably slowed her down as well. But in the end the smoke was harsh and the high was pretty mediocre, the only saving grace was I got 11zips that after 2 months cure wasn't terrible. that grow was a comedy/tragedy. That's the biggest downside for growing one plant at a time, every once in while I'll do a bad grow, or get a bad pheno but after a few months of growing I'm committed to finishing. But it isn't even close to all bad, I've had some amazing grows in terms of both yeild and quality, so now I'm really excited about OG Kush bongsmilie

That’s awesome G. OG Kush is a killer classic! It’s a strain I want to get around to doing soon. I did Dinafem Blue Cheese last grow and get a real pretty pheno but had all sorts of problems with a new nute line I was unfamiliar with and burnt her up but the smoke was really great, but as she cured I wasn’t diggin the high anymore. It’s like it was good fresh and peaked with a 2.5 month cure and then started to funk out on me. That’s why I’m buying some medical pot store stuff for a spell here. I picked up some local growers cut called, Jigga , has alotta Girl Scout cookies in it. It ain’t bad really . It helped me sort out the collage I’m working on.
Dakota is a monster, responding so powerfully green and vibrant. Just an absolute pleasure to grow. I love her!!
God her leaves are beautiful!!

Dakota is a beauty! and I'm really excited to see how this progresses for you. Your current grow is going so well, I'm already having thoughts about doing my own homage grow to scottyballs, after the OG finishes. Might be a combo homage to scottyballs and the good Dr. Amber T, your grow is kinda selling me on that timber cob leD.

I know what you mean about how the cure can change the properties of your buds, for me it's usually been a positive, but I grew some reserva privada OG 18 like 5 or 6 years ago that went from being top shelf in taste and power right after the chop, to being real middling after being jarred for a while.

Recreational weed becomes legal here on Jan 1  I can't wait to have so many choices to mix and match with my hand raised children of green. I'll always grow my own, it's kind of a passion and hobby but I'm psyched to expand the proverbial set list.

Dig the art work, my form of artistic expression is the guitar and weed is a contributor to my muse also :bigjoint:

My wife is half aboriginal and my kids are 1/4. I have no aboriginal in me. My wife used to do a lot of aboriginal art before she got busy with the kids
That is so freakin cool. I love Australia aboriginal art. It really resonates with me on a spiritual and pure raw level. I need to travel to Australia and visit the museums . But the fucking airplane trip is insanely long and I hate flying.

Haha! That’s awesome! Thank you so much. That is quite a compliment. I appreciate the wonderful feedback. Who are some of your favorite bands and musical interests and Where do you live ? Personally I prefer freshly cured weed to a long cure. I absolutely don’t believe keeping weed curing for over 6 months makes it any better for me . It just goes old and harsh and loses its spark. So if I get a massive pull from this crop I’m gonna try sell half of it to the locals dispensary's .

Good luck to you! Hope the new year will be good to you. Change can be difficult and challenging but it can also shed the brightest gems of light.
Beutiful! Those leaves are insane and she's filling out fast! Are you seeing any signs of flower yet?
She is insanely bushy!! Yes, seeing lots of flowering sites, like everywhere. I think i counted like 25 top colas yesterday. Here are a couple pictures just a few minutes ago. I’m not tucking her under today.

Wow that's filling out so nicely, do you think you'll be able to get it right to the edge? I'd love to see big fat buds covering the tent! It looks sativa dominant, the RQS northern lights that I grew had much fatter leaves than yours, should make it easier to get light deep into the canopy.

Good question. I’m not sure what’s going to happen LG. It all depends how tall the flowers get. I might have to keep tucking them under to the edge . I was thinking the same thing about those skinny flowering leaves looking sativa at this point but they are small leaves and might become much bigger as the flower grows. The root system is massive already. I’m pretty sure it’s completely filled the entire lower Rez by the way the food I feed it fills up in pauses and gaps. Like you I hope for big fat buds!

Not being able to check the roots is one thing I didn't like about scrogging. How quickly is it going through the two gallons of water?

Oh man what a day, woke up and it was 3 degrees out, I'm am not even remotely ready for sub zero temps again.

You are very welcome, I am thoroughly enjoying your grow and you had me hooked at scottyballs, northern lights and tool so it has been entirely my pleasure and no thanks in my direction are remotely necessary.

As far as music goes, it's always been part of my life and I like it all, except music from India I've tried and I just can't do it. I'm a led Zeppelin, disco and funk child of the 70's, a heavy metal and hair band teen of the 80's and an alternative/grunge/hip hop twenty something in the 90's. Started on violin at 7 or 8 switched to guitar around 9or 10, played jazz band in high school and college and was in about 20 garage bands before I was 20. I don't really have favorite bands, just bands and musicians for moments and moods. Live shows was my passion, and I'd seen hundreds of shows by the time I hit thirty. I'm im Chicago so I was lucky enough to see pretty much every band starting with kiss in 77, Metallica in 83, nirvana as a 4 piece punk band in 89, pearl jam summer of 92 before the release of ten, the first lollapalooza, ozzfest, riotfest if you can name it I've probably seen it. See what you started, this could go on for pages :P

As far as curing goes, I'm a fan. I think most weed that I've grown has benifited from varying amounts of time in jars, but not all. I think it's kind of a law of averages thing, in that you'll always have your outliers while the majority falls within the mean. But person preference can't be argued.

So now that I've bared my soul, quid pro quo clarice. Bare your soul and passions with us.

Quid pro quo here you go....
I’m on day 21 Flower .
feed in 650 PPMs
when I check her after she drinks about a gallon and a quarter her PPMs are like 1200. So I don’t know what the fuck. She looks good and I hope she stays this way.
here is a picture of the branch I cracked now that it’s healed up more and she really does not smell very strong and looks exactly the the Northern Lights pictures I have seen online so she is definitely a Northern Lights and one characteristics of Northern Lights its not fragrant.

sometimes instead of tucking under the net I'll use bread twist or pipe cleaners & tie limbs on the top side of the net , your plant look like a true hybrid the way the bud leaves take on that sativa appearance
