Nute burn question

So I have some nute burn.
As the saying goes...if it’s effected all over than its nute burn, if it starts at the bottom and goes up it’s a def of some kind.

All the tips of my leafs are browning....just the very very tips.

My questions is, in a 10 gal res can I just add distilled water to dilute the nutes or do I have to flush and start over.

I just started flowering and gave them a big dose of nutes for the first week, hoping I don’t have to waste it all and can just add a gallon or so of water.

This is a drip/bubble with 600w hps....cuz I know people will ask!

Thanks for any advice.

HI Unique.... You better add a shit load of water...

I am assuming that you are not using a ppm or ph meter.. this is vital for successful HYDRO or Aeroponic growing.... i know these meters are expensive.... but this is the meter you need..

If it were me, I would drain the entire reservoir and let it run with straight 5.8 water for 24 hours...

a picture would really help...

cheers

Hey guys,

Thanks for the answers. I added 1.5 gallons to the res and am hurrying up and waiting for the lights to come on tonight to see how they are doing.....12 hours is FOREVER!

I do have a ph meter and check it about once a day. It stays within 5.8 to 6.0 with hardly any sway. I have never need to adjust the ph with this system so far.

I do not have a ppm meter. I am about to beak down and buy one soon tho.
Here are a few pics of the girls at the 2nd day of flower when I noticed the burn.

BTW I noticed this within 24 hours of adding the Tiger Bloom for the first time.
Honestly tho there is not much to see in the pics....the burn is at the VERY tips of the leaf with a slight curl to the brown end.

I am not too worried about this, I guess my biggest concern would be nute lock out if I gave them too much.

Thanks again for the fast response....let me know if you still think a complete flush would be needed.

It's not too bad, but I'd flush like Knowm says. I had the same issue a bit ago and it recovered like a champ.
