Ok so here are my questions,

FFOF comes with enough nutes built in for 30 days....

when should i start adding nutes?
I have Humboldt Honey ES carbs, FF BIG BLOOM, FF TIGER BLOOM and BAT GUANO (0-5-0)...

since the FFOF SOil has built in nutes when should i start using what?

im thinking Big Bloom and Humboldt Honey ES Carbs during Veg and then add tiger bloom in flower....i still dont know when to use the Bat Guano! The soil like i said says "no additives for 30 days" so do i add bat guano after 30 days and how do i add it if my plant is already in the soil?

Theoretically everytime i transplant into new soil i should use ZERO nutes for 30 days?....

i would think to use the bat guano in flower stage in the form of a tea
also i think big bloom is a stimulator and is used with both stages of growth and tiger bloom is bloom nutrients
u r missing the grow big,but u could probably do a whole grow with just the tiger bloom

you answered your own question..if the ffof has enuff nutes to last for 30 days then wouldnt you wanna add your liquid nutes around day 30..?

looking at the foxfarms feed schedule should help.. http://foxfarmfertilizer.com/feedingfox.html

and my opinion you waisted your money on the honey shit..! but since you have it id use it lightly once a weekish then more durring the very end.!

i was told grow big was not that necessary as tiger bloom and big bloom were...

also the Humboldt Honey some people say use it during veg and work up to flower, some say only flower and if i use it during veg it will "starve the plant"....how will giving it nutes early starve it?

if i had to chose between grow big and big bloom id chose grow big......

im not a nute expert by the way

i suppose its not if ur only going to be vegging for 30 days
like i said u could probably do a whole grow with just the tiger bloom
also after looking at the nutes, grow big would be a better ratio for flower...imo

after 30 days use grow big and big bloom until u switch to flower, then use tiger bloom and big bloom...
i would use the guano when flowers start forming
and the carbs through the whole grow

there we go a straight forward clear answer...thanks...

i plan on watering next with big bloomm grow big and carbs....should i water once with nutes and once without? basically giving it nutes every other watering, i water about every 5 days...

You def want GrowBig, that what you use through out the veg stage. You only you BigBloom for the first couple to get your seedlings or clones started then after that you switch to GrowBig unti you turn your lights back. Once you go into your flowering stage then you use BigBloom w/ Tiger Bloom mixed together at the same time every other watering. There schedule tells you to use GrowBig during weeks 3&4 of flower so that your plant can get the nitrogen it needs during flowering. I also use there soluble line: OpenSesame, BeastieBloomz & ChaChing. For the last week of veg and weeks 1 & 2 of flowering I water my plants with TigerBloom & BigBloom one watering, then the next watering they get is OpenSesame & BudCandy and so on for those three weeks. For weeks 3-5 of flowering I give them TB & BB one watering, then next watering its BeastieBloomz & Budcandy and so on for those 3 weeks. Last for weeks 6 & 7 of flowering I give them TB & BB one watering , then the next watering is ChaChing & BudCandy and so on until the end of week 7 and I start my last week which is when I flush out my soil/nutes.

big up mo. i'll help too :).

You will have to read your plants to decide how much/how often to give food with water. An every other routine is very normal with soluble organics in FFOF. I like to have a little "greenhouse burn" going on, where you have the tiniest amount of burnt tips. If your plants want more food they will tell you, either with yellowing (N), red/purple petioles (P), or yellow/dead spots (K). Look into deficiencies before using that over simplification to diagnose, but you get the point. Read the leaves, stems, and petioles.

Now, on the other hand, you could be pumping hard with lots of light and needy plants, and they may benefit from continual feeding. I would, at the least, water without food every fourth feeding. That would be for super needy plants. You can start off every other and make the call depending on the plants. And, you can always step it up slowly and and step it back down, it is not like you are using chem.

depending how srong u mix ur solution will determine how often u feed
if u feed light then u could feed every watering
if u go by what FF say then i think its feed, water, feed, water
personally i would feed, water, water... feed,
up to u:leaf:

u can use the carbs through out the grow
use the guano in flower and maybe get a potassium supplement to compliment it

but when starting in FFOF should i wait to add nutes for 3-4 weeks? so at this point we are almost through veg....or can i give nutes earlier when using FFOF? every time i transplant i transplant into new fresh FFOF so its like should i wait every time i transplant to add nutes? at that rate i would never add nutes or hardly any...

thanks, im just worried about giving three different nutes in my waterings i only use 1 or 2 gallons on my babies, will using 3 different nutes cause any issues?

also what do you know about waiting X amount of days until using any nutes with FFOF? or is it only heavy in nutes to fresh cuttings and young plants?

no
is it only heavy in nutes to fresh cuttings and young plants?
i believe so
like matt said,u have to read ur plants to know when to introduce nutrients...all plants grow differently so saying to feed on an exact day is unreliable
most likely ur plant will start turning a lighter green and maybe some red/purple stems when it is hungry

To reply to an earlier post: some nutes are not designed to be mixed, and theoretically may react when mixed together, but that would occur over time. If you just mix and feed it shouldn't matter. I mix two -zymes and microbes and food all together.

Signs your plants are content: everything perfect green, all leaves pointing up, pots drinking VERY routinely, no yellowing, no dead spots, green stems and petioles (the stem that connects the individual leaflets to the stalks).

Signs to feed more: moash listed the mantra above. you will have to become a master of shades of green. Sativas are generally a lighter green because they are used to long seasons and lots of light (according to a phone call I had with Ed Rosenthal last month). The kushes and indicas are darker green.

Signs to feed less: tip burn, spotting, pH issues

post edit: and feed that honey es if you bought it already. half strength is okay if you want to stretch it out. or half/half with a less expensive carb source like molasses. the carbs feed the microbes, which lets the plants retain their photosynthetically derived carbs that they would otherwise have to share with the symbiotic soil life.

should i use the honey during veg or flower?
