im starting a DWC setup and i was wondering what would be the best inexspensive nutrients and how much nutrients should i add into it, its an 18 gallon tub thats gonna start off with 1 plant in it for a week or so then have 2 plants in it? any help would be greatly appreciated

GeneralHydroponics (Grow,Micro,Bloom) will to, and if you want to save some money, go with "Lucas formula" (only Micro and Bloom);
G-M-B (Grow-Micro-Bloom)
0-5-10 - For Vegetative cycle (18/6)
0-8-16 - For Flowering cycle (12/12)

And when you start your grow, start them all at the same time;)

personally i would do the general hydroponics the dry. i went to a dry nute and i am loving it. so much cheaper and gh has the maxi which is good as well. when you go with liquid nutes you are paying for expensive water .... personally i use no micro because i use tap water but it wouldn't hurt.

Use General Hydroponics , they even have a online nutrient calculator that lets you plug in your info and pretty much tells you what to put in your reservoir.

thank you so much to everyone i really appreciate your input. once i get this setup finished ill start adding pics and what not

Make sure you add your nutes for the amount of water you have in your tub.
Your 18 gal. tub may only hold 14 gallons if not filled to the top.
I like GH Grow/Micro/Bloom. Its cheap and works great.
Another tip... Start light with the nutes... 1/2 strength... and work your way up. Make sure you have a meter. Guessing your PPM doesn't work.

Yes Yes get a meter its very important you get a meter to read your PPM and PH and like skooooot said start light in early veg I go 1/4 strength and then work my way up .

If you have to choose a nutrient lineup that works consistently, check out Advanced Nutrients.

They have a nutrient calculator on their website www.advancednutrients.com that will help you with the amounts you need to use. It all depends on what you want to do with your grow.
