You are going to get a ton of brand name suggestions here.... and most of them aren't cheap. I would suggest you look for a basic grow formula that has trace nutrients. A good ratio for vegetation is 15-10-10 or 10-10-10. That is the NPK ratio. If you need a breakdown, please ask, otherwise I'm assuming you have that info down. The nutrient needs to contain trace minerals as well, just read the label. If you are going to use distilled or RO water, you might want to invest in some Cal-Mag from Botanicare, or something similar, if the nutrient you choose has low or no amounts of Ca or Mg.

I know im new to this site but ive been growing for a while and all i use is general hydroponics brand.they are fairly priced and have been in business for over 30 years now,so they must be doing something right.these products are prettyeasy to use also, they have charts right on the bottles or you can go online to check out how to use their products.for veg i use flora nova (grow),floralicious plus, and liquid seaweed for b vitamins alot of people use superthrive for their b vitamins also.for flowering i use floranova (bloom),floralicious plus, flora nectar, and kool bloom.these are very easy to use and cheap for the most part.the only one thatis a little pricey is the floralicious plus.everyone has their own combinations and youll find one to fit you.but if you are on a budget and not to experienced general hydroponics is the way to go.youll be happy with it.

MG Tomato food is just as good and about a 10th of the price of those GH products.... and MG has been around much longer ;)
