What if I say McCain is the socialist? He just wants to spread the poors money to the wealthy, and he did vote to bail out billionaires. It's ok to socialize the debt, but not ok for the rich to pay their fair share? It's a privledge to live in this country, and if they want to move to ireland like they always talk about.... well get the fuck going, don't let the door hit your fat rich ass on the way over.

I don't know why I bother arguing.
Taxes are in their very essence Socialist, because even when they are not used to "redistribute" the wealth they do just that by transferring it from the pockets of those that pay them to the pockets of politicians and bureaucrats.
It is not socialist to cut taxes, and obviously, any across the board tax cut is going to give more money to the people that pay more taxes. Common sense, please exercise it a little.
Obviously if there's a 33% effective tax rate then the person that's making $30,000 a year is going to pay $10,000, and the person making $100,000 is going to pay $33,000, so if taxes are cut 1% the person making $30,000 is going to see only a $300 cut, and the person making $100,000 is going to see a $1,000 cut.
Thus there is no way that a tax cut is not going to favor those that are making more, and thus pay more.

Reagan did not "break" anything. It was the Bushies who broke from Reagan, and that is why we are where we are. Hell, Clinton was a better Reaganite than either Bush to be truthful.
In the years between Kennedy and Reagan, the stock markets avg. was -16%, thats pitiful...
After Reagan's borrowed ideas from clear headed economists (there are others) this country outproduced our entire country's history GDP in just 25 years. Hardly a broken economic policy. We need to go back to those true principles to fix this mess. kiss-ass
