didnt know there was any type of MMA following on RIU..would have posted these earlier...

as some of you know i work for Zuffa and Sinister Brand...these are from a late night excursion to Denny's in Chicago with the Black House Camp and backstage with Anderson and the Black House Camp before he fought Cote...i have a bunch of backstage videos but dont know how to load them up...

these pics from Dennys are the night ProElite went under...we were chilling after training when super manager and Sinister Brand owner Ed Soares got the call letting us know of the bankruptcy...

Rafael Fajao takes it pretty hard as he was gearing up his training camp to fight for the EXC lightheavy weight belt:

when we first acquired the WEC it was going to sorta be like a AAA league...the original plans were if you lost 3 fights in the UFC, youd drop to the WEC where youd have to earn your way back into the UFC...it never took off as planned...the WEC is its own organization under the Zuffa banner

shortly after getting the WEC we realized it was gonna be able to hold its own based on the amazing talent in the lighter divisions...this gave some guys chances to drop weight and compete (jeff curran, jens pulver, leonard garcia and so on) rather then get dominated in the lightweight division and gave other guys chances to drop into the sightly less talented WEC to compete (Joe Riggs, John Allessio, and so on)...the light heavyweight and middleweight divisions of the WEC will soon be no more...all those fighters will be folded into the UFC...Carlos Condit, Hiromitsu Hiura, Chael Sonnin, Steve Cantewell, and Brian Stann are gonna be the only ones able to compete in the UFC IMO

yup WEC will have weight divisions up to 170

the Chi was cool...it was my first time in IL so it was dope to see the Chicago Theatre (where we had our weigh ins)...just wish we couldve gotten the United Center instead of the All State Arena in Rosemont...one thing i do HATE about chicago is your freeway system...you guys are the 3rd largest city in the country and you still only have 2 lanes per direction on your freeways...horrible

You've been waiting along time for rampage/silva? They've fought twice already. I believe rampage will win this time. Forrest/rashad is a toss up. If rashad throws like he did against chuck he'll do just fine.

weve had a huge hit to our camp...

will ribero (who just lost to brian bowles) is currently comatose after getting in a bike wreck 2 days ago...he's definitely blind in one eye...and just got out of another surgery...i just got off the horn with his manager ed soares and doctors are saying he is just starting to show signs of reacting to pain

as anyone in the sport knows, besides the loss to bowles, will was fast becoming one of the rising starts in the sport...he'll more then likely never fight again

please keep will, his family, and friends in your prayers...thank you all
