i have finished quite a few fem seeds now i was warning on here..not to order them ignored it & yes i was dissapointed. They seemed very unstable, some produce ungodly small amounts.(trainwreck) some had a hard time flowering (alaskan ice/cheese). 1 turned out good. but it seemed a GIANT waste of time. all my regular seeds look great, these new breed fem seeds, look like crosses i tryed to make, by this i mean very unstable. i see many kinds i want to try that are ONLY in fem. should i bother to try further or is this a lost cause? i used the greenhouse mix pack. but the alaskan ice wasn't from there & had the same rotten tendencies.
ordering Feminized seeds a waste of time?

I got some fem seeds.. From DNA Genetics (Kushberry).. and doing 1 Blue hash from Dinafem seeds.. so far they are doing great .. maybe u jus got bad luck ... try getting some fem seeds from good Known breeders

All my fem seeds from greenhouse seeds have been females and i got some freeby fems from g13 labs and were all females, i just buy any seeds and get a good healthy mother and just clone.

this is something that has no true answer.i have grown many female seed strains with 100percent no hermies and had huge yeilds and i only use a 400w hps in soil.i have had more than a few hassles with ordinary seed exspecially with chemdog as they are very unstable but finally pulled it off also blueberry can be unstable and yes my grow op is 100 dialed in so it comes down to genetics

females are great i guess you just got some bad genetics. i ordered some fem super lemon haze and super silver haze and they did great except one super lemon haze it was a runt the whole time. but what else can u ask for, just take some clones from good females and call it a day. what seed bank did you order from? mine were from attitude

In my limited experience I noticed that fem seeds seem to not grow as fast and strong. My last grow a did regular blue cheese and I also did 3 fem blue cheese and the regular ones grew big and strong but the quality of the fem seeds where 10 times better , dont know why ? I cloned from the fems because the quality was so good and now I have very healthy plants that will yeild very good and hopefully be the same quality.

Dutch Passion claims that a selection of plants from feminized seeds are more uniform than a selection from regular seeds. If that's true the children plants will be similar to the mother, which will be the best pheno the breeder could lay hands on. You might have just got a good batch.

Ive had nothing but good luck and great results with Fem Seeds, I have 5 Fem Short Riders and 5 Fem swiss cheese on the way right now. Cant wait to pop em in the pellets and fire up my first indoor/cfl grow. (Outdoor only grower for around 5 yrs now) looking forward to indo, lol

My Green House Indica Mix H pack fem seeds have been terrific. Ending week 8 flower and they are vigorous growers with no signs of herm. This is by no means a testament to their stability because I only have one of each strain of course. Merely reporting my experience. My Trainwreck stretched like crazy but formed a giant spear shape cola in the end. The Cheese is pretty leggy but still decent yield. Great White Shark and White Rhino are both compact with strong upright branches and massive buds. Lemon Skunk is the smallest yielder but the buds look and smell divine.

No there not a waste of time.. There the opposite, they SAVE time.. You dont have to WASTE TIME growing males for months.

i had five short rider beaners from Nirvana n they were shit.. outta three i germed only one sprouted then it died.. Nirvanas seeds are small n feeble.. dont know if id order from them again..

Did the "H" pack from greenhouse and thought all 5 strains were good. Lemon skunk was my favorite and really smells like lemon, skunk! Did get some hermie flowers on the GWS, but only 2 seeds so far from entire 12 plant grow. Personally I don't waste much time on males because i sort them 90% by week 3 from seed pop and never later than before week 4. I prefer regular seeds. Mr. Nice SSH is awesome.

I bought a 10 pack fem mix and holy fuck. I at least 2 oz `s from each plant (dried weight). I had 100% germ rate. Every plant made to harvest. To bad i bought the mix i have some great bud but i have no idea what kind it is. I bought the seeds marijuana -seeds.nl. Also received 5 free afgani they all popped also. So yea femaes rock.
