Outdoor in the Adirondack

I did some blue cheese from seedsman last yr in hoop house and it was very mold/mildew resistant but it was a monster at 9’ tall in a 7 gal hempy bucket with only 5 gal of soil but had to water/feed it daily. All the other strains I tried didn’t like our climate here in the southern tier. If ya know any ole timers that been growing for many moons they probably have the best strains for this climate but those folks are hard to get too know as they been low key for so long they don’t like outsiders so to speak. There is a big festival in my area at echo lake and that’s the place to meet some locals to get good outdoor strains if your in the southern tier. Best of luck to all outdoor cultivars hopefully it’s a dry season

ik the lights ain’t useful up their don’t worry but old man I’m growing for wanted transplant the mothers he has into better soil so in doing so shocked the plants fucking with the root ball. so ik they need time to recover so they were just chillin watered sense transplant with water in them still were heavy asf then dude comes along an waters his plants again saying they like a lot of water lmao, and I can’t say anything like tf you water em for they gone drown lmao I mean they’ll be fine but he never gives them time to stretch roots lookin for water. Or time for the soil to dry fuck I could still see wet soil on top from transplant. then he puts them under the table so there in the “shade”. Like the lights ain’t doing much as it is lmao. these plants are so fucked genetic wise from stress and so many transplants changing pots for no reason. I can’t wait for my seeds to come in everything he wants to mother is a clone and should just flower off an die honestly but I can’t tell him that. Rip pray for me lolimage.jpg

Lol yea I’m not far from there at all. Can’t go wrong with a fat sammy from the general store after a genny at seebers!
When does that festival go down normally? bongsmilie
The native noise at echo is the weekend of August 19th. Check out the harvest festival in new lisbon. NYS got on the organizers ass because of covid the last couple years but it went down even after they tried shutting it down

alright seems to i quite using hard water so no more cal on leaves hopefully that helps with bugs also somehow lol
A good mulch layer up top can help with pest along with some diatomaceous earth.
How hard? Do you know the TDS and what the contents are? What type of water are u using now?
A lot of peeps will add dolomite lime to there soil mix to help the microbiology adjust the ph accordingly, but that takes a some time. Again I wouldn’t worry too much tho bc the newer growth doesn’t look bad.
Also don’t be scared to spray some preventatives like neem or whatever. Only have to be careful with that shit when there is buds that u will be smoking lol
