Outdoor to big?

Hey all,
So i am sittin here planing my spring/summer outdoor grow, when it hits me... You cant have more then 24oz's dried... I wanted to grow just one, big ass plant, and now i cant! Sucks!

you can do what we do here in michigan. the law states that you may only have that much "USABLE" marijuana
if you state your stuff isnt usable until after a certain cure period, and log it, then you are still within the law.

so whatever dried is over your limit, cure it until a set date, and call it unusable.

oh, and that idea came from a pretty big lawyer who represents medical marijuana patients/caregivers.

grow it anyway, give away anything in excess of 24 ounces after you harvest it.

Or, if have caregiver there like you do here, you can have the caregiver hold the excess for you. Here we have the grower, caregiver, and the patient.

or you can grow as much as you want and just store it. if you get caugfht with more then 24 ounces its just a slap on the wrist, and thats if you get caught. ive never heard of them checking amounts unless some one is getting busted. as long as your not growing hundreds of pounds and selling, grow as much as you want. just stay with in the plant limit

id say just stick with the curing period idea...cause if the purpose of getting our cards is to be able to just lie then why do we even need the cards? no offense but the logic of "ive never heard of them checking amounts unless some one is getting busted" is the plan then whats the point of staying within the plant limits on the cards at all cause ive never heard of peoples houses getting raided just to make sure they have the right number of plants...basically i feel that if youre getting busted theres probably something bigger happening than just a routine check

thats what i was getting at man. your not gonna get raided over a few xtra plants but alot of xtras maybe so.
the whole point of having a card is so that we can medicate in peace with almost no worries about the law fucking with us.

i like this idea!

if the guy is only doing one plant, he's not going to draw much attention. there are no inspectors sent around, and even if he were to be caught with extra meds, he can argue the affirmative defense (that they are for personal use) or just get rid of anything in excess of what the laws allow, which is part of the law.

There was just a court case here in oregon a while ago about this very issue. Damn now I have to try and find it. The police confiscated a bunch of hanging plants and curing medicine and the courts made the cops give it back because it wasnt useable medicine so it didnt count against their numbers. I think it was two brothers
Anybody heard of this case?
I have it tagged some where on my computer.
