Overdried bud

Recently harvested a small auto plant. It was drying in decent conditions (70F/50RH), but because my cat originally tried to eat this plant as a seedling it was stunted with small isolated nugs. I didn’t realize how fast they would dry.

On day 8 they were crispy and flakey, so I trimmed and put in Grove bags. Hygrometer reads 44%, so I clearly overdried.

I also bought boveda packs because I’m desperate to restore at least some humidity.

what’s the best move here? Does heat sealing the grove bags with boveda packs inside make sense? On Reddit someone recommended putting boveda packs in the grove bags but just not heat sealing them.

Would really appreciate any advice!

I just put a couple fan leaves in with the over dried weed and by morning it will have much more moisture. Just don’t get them too moist and seal. That’s an old school trick

I'd just put them in a glass jar with the boveda until the moisture creeps up a little. Those grove bags are pricey from what i remember.
