Also important to note, he was taking veterinary-grade ivermectin which is not the same as the antiparasitic drug for humans. Regardless of duration, people should not be taking veterinary-grade ivermectin for anything without speaking to a medical professional first.
people should not be taking the human grade stuff unless they have a parasite to get rid of, and republican politicians don't count.

In human doses for parasitic infections only and by prescription for that purpose, it is a neurotoxin.
Just as a FYI, this is what the Dr Zelenko Protocol suggested for high risk patients of covid:
Ivermectin 0.2 mg/kg — one dose on day 1 and day 3, then take one dose weekly

It must have sucked, knowing a complete moron was in charge, telling them to lie to make him look better, while they're were ordered to let people die, and not talk about it...Fuck, trump is a filthy, horrible, disgusting person, and every republican who ever supported him in any way should be banned from ever holding any office again. Just a fucking republican horror show.

Got another covid boost yesterday, first since last October, not for the latest strain, but I figure it should help if I catch the bug. There were a bit less than 1 in 1000 positive tests in April, 895 positive PCR tests (pop 1 million) 89 hospitalizations and 12 deaths. Covid is still around, still making people sick and still fucking over people who catch it.

I am just happy that as of Monday the hospitals I work out of dropped the masking policy. For the first time since this all started I am not stuck with a wet mask that makes it more difficult to breath and impossible to be comfortable. Still required in patient areas but not in back halls and such. I agree though, still good to be cautious, it's not like its gone.
