Hi guys I'm fairly new to growing only have one under my belt. I've just purchased the CX horticulture range. They have a bloom/booster to use 1ml/100ml. I've just added it in my second week of flowering as per instructions. I added it after base nutrients when my PH was 5.9. After adding the bloom PH shot to 7.4. My EC is 1.4. In Is this Normal for PH to rise so drastically? Is it safe to use? I'm presuming i shouldn't use PH down with any kind of bloom/booster. (I think i read it somewhere)

I'm not familiar with those nutrients. However pH Down is acid. I would use it to adjust the pH and not worry about it. What medium are you growing in?

Check your pH once everything has been mixed, and adjust if needed. For example, canna rhizotonic is highly alkaline. When I mixed my canna a and b it would be at 6.2, and after adding rhizo it would jump up to mid 7s.

Would adjust back down to 6.2 and to from there.
I don't think there is any issue using pH down with anything.
