Perpetual Setup?

Hello, after my last and biggest grow ended in a very dramatic way, i decided to enter the game again. I live in a rented apartment and have decided to "extent" a bit the closets in my bedroom. The closets' dimensions are 6x2, i want to extend thei width to 8' so that i can have a space of 6x8 feet in total for growing. So, here comes my 1st question: What material should i use in order to extend the closets? In my previous grow i had constructed a 10x10 growtent from PVC pipes but their bases seemed fragile to me. Do you know any way to stabilize the bases of the PVC pipes so that i have a sturdy growtent or suggest another alternative? From my previous grow, i have 7 600w bulbs and ballasts, 1 400w bulb and ballast, 1 250w bulb and ballast. I also have 3 cooltubes. And last but not least, i have 3x6" ventilation fans, 3x5", and 1x4" ventilation fan. I don't want to use all of them, an apartment with 1 bedroom and 1 spare room would be suspicious drawing all that juice. I did it in the past for ~2 months and the electricity bill was veeeeeery pricey! So, i am looking to use up to 1200 watts of HPS. As the title suggests i wanna have a perpetual setup, harvesting buds every month. From what i understand i have got to separate that 6x8 growing place that i am going to make in 3? One for vegging, one for flowering and one for cloning or seedlings? How would you do it if you were me and had the supplies and the room i mentioned? I would love to hear your answers, wishing the best to all of you!

I love perpetuals...the problem is space. They require more space unless you are willing to sacrifice quantity. Monthly harvests will require one plant moving in while one is being harvested. To have a plant ready every month will require 6-8 stages in veg. depending on veg time that is, I know guys that do 12/12 right off the bat (I don't think there would be enough for me monthly). 8 week veg and 8 week flower seems to be the easiest cycle, now find the right strain Good Luck JAS

Well I have a simple 2 bedroom apt. The second bedroom is cut in half, I made a dark room out of black plastic sheeting. My lights run constant (600 cool tube) and I just rotate crops under every 12 hours. I have the closet in that bedroom as the mother/clone area. I knocked part of the wall out, now the closet in that bedroom is connected to the closet in my bedroom giving good circulation throughout the house. My house AC is set at 75 giving my a pretty close night and day temp my cab is 78 and my bedroom is 65(letting cold air blow into my flower cab and keeping my bedroom door closed) and my bedroom is where I hang the buds, staying at 65 with some air circulation and completely dark... I pull 3oz every week on average...not a lot but I grow landrace sativas and I usually flower up to 20 weeks. So considering that I think I yield good pretty often......I don't use carbon filters or anything as these heavy sativas are generally low odor.. it works out nicely

I would use tents...
Tents are a pricey for my financial situation right now. If i have the money i am gonna buy 2, 1 4x6 and 1 3x3. It would make things easier.

Thank you for your suggestion! :) Could you elaborate on the 8 week veg and 8 week flower cycle? I am thinking 2 strains so far concerning the photoperiod plants, The Church and some Critical Strain.

Very nice bro! 3 oz every week on average is equal to 12 oz per month, a figure for which i would be very content if i achieved it! With how many plants do you achieve this weekly harvest and what are the dimensions of your clone area and flower area respectively?

This is how i am thinking of doing it: If things go the way i want it, i will have a 6x8 space for growing. I plan on dividing it into 3 sections, 1 3x3 space for veg, 1 3x3 space for first 4 weeks of flowering and 1 4x6 space for the last 4 weeks of flowering. For my first harvest i am gonna choose autoflowers, i am thinking about putting 16 autos in that 4x6 space. I want my first harvest before Christmas you see and i am thinking it would be so if i begun on 1st of October! For the first month of the autos' lives i am gonna use 1200 watt in that 4x6 space.

In the 3x3 1-4 weeks flower area i am gonna start 6 photos under 600 watt at 1st of October too. The veg area will be empty during October.

In 1st of November i am gonna take 1 600w from my 4x6 flower area and use it for the veg space. I am gonna put 6 photoperiod plants in there and start them under that 600w. The 600w in the 4x6 area will be put vertical to have a better use of my 600w for those 16 autos. They would not be receiving proper light if i keep it horizontal, with bare vertical bulb they would have better coverage.

All of that is illustrated in the quick sketch i made with MS paint. Opinions for my plan are more than welcome!
